Beauty Packing Essentials - What's In My Maternity Hospital Bag

This isn't my typical post, but I'm officially over 37 weeks pregnant, so I could have this baby at any point in time! It was time to pack my hospital bag (and most importantly, my beauty essentials for a night or two at the hospital - I tried to pack my beauty bag like I was traveling for a night or two!)

Beauty Packing Essentials - What's In My Maternity Hospital Bag

I'm trying to keep my Maternity Hospital Bag as natural and as simple as possible! Everything in here needs to be quick and easy to use because I will be exhausted and will probably not have a lot of time to myself!

Here is a look at some of my oral care and essential items:
-Listerine Fresh Burst Floss ~ This is just a type of floss I have on hand and floss is an obvious must!
-Sensodyne Deep Clean Toothpaste Travel Size ~ Just received this in my Sample Source box and it was perfect size for my hospital bag!
-Radius Tour Travel Toothbrush ~ $5.49. This is a perfect eco-friendly travel toothbrush - this brand is committed to reducing their carbon footprint and providing revolutionary toothbrush designs. Also, this is the best design because it folds up on itself and makes it easy to pack along!
-The Green Beaver Green Apple Lip Balm ~ $3.99. This is a Canadian company that uses certified organic beeswax. I heave heard great things about this brand and I will need this in the hospital!
-Acuvue Oasys Contacts ~ I brought a back up pair of contacts just in case! I will be bringing my glasses as well as a travel size contact solution and an extra case!
-Spry Xylitol Chewing Gum "Cinnamon" ~ $1.79. This is a natural gum brand and I might need to try this - apparently it's a good distraction technique from the pain! (Also, this brand is good because there is no sugar in it!)

Here is a look at my hospital skincare routine:
-NuFACE Prep-N-Glow Cloth ~ $25.00 for 20 cloths. I have one cloth from a Sephora sample freebie, so I thought it was the most convenient way to pack a makeup remover with me!
-Fresh Soy Face Cleanser ~ sample. This is a great, gentle face cleanser - it will work well post makeup remover or for a morning cleanser too.
-Skinfood Watery Berry Toner ~ sample. This is the only sample of toner I have and while it is quite small, it will work fine for a day or two!
-Farmacy Skin Dew Hydrating Essence Mist & Setting Spray ~ sample (full size is $57.00). This is a great multi-use product, making it perfect for a hospital bag! It can be used as a toner, a mist, an essence, a refresher and a setting spray (if I happen to put on a little makeup for my visitors!)
-Hey Honey Open Your Eyes - Eye Contour Lifting Fluid ~ sample. Just a nice sample size cream for a hospital bag! And, clearly I will not be sleeping well I'm sure so eye cream will be a huge must!
-Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum ~ samples. I haven't tried this serum before, but how perfect are these travel size serums?! Great for packing in a little bag!
-Lush Gorgeous Moisturizer ~ sample (full size is $87.95). This little sample came in one of the gift boxes from my husband! I love this moisturizer and I think it is a perfect addition for a clean, natural maternity beauty bag!
-Lush Dream Cream Hand And Body Lotion ~ sample (full size is $29.95). Lush, again, is the perfect lotion to include for natural products. I will need lotion for labour (trust me, my husband will be being nice and giving my a massage!) as well as post baby dry skin! Dream Cream is great because it is a really subtle, gentle scent making it perfect to bring in to a hospital setting!

Beauty Packing Essentials - What's In My Maternity Hospital Bag

As a beauty blogger, maybe this isn't the right thing to say, but for these couple of days, makeup is not the most important thing to me while at the hospital! I might decide to throw on a little bit if I have visitors at the hospital, here are the coupe essentials I will bring with me:
-Sephora Collection Makeup Sponge ~ I need a quick little sponge to apply any foundation/concealer I may put on!
-Too Faced Too Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara ~ travel size $15.00. Obviously, both mascara and a waterproof formula is a MUST! There will be pictures and tears so I need to be able to survive both of those!
-It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer ~ sample. This is described as "your 8 hours of sleep in a tube" - so this sounds pretty perfect for a post-baby concealer! Hopefully it makes me look like I got a little sleep!
-Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in "Sand" ~ travel size $29.00. I needed to find something light to even out my skintone instead of a heavy foundation! This is a gentle formula that I have used on my honeymoon before!

Also, I forgot to take a picture of my hair products! I packed my hair brush, elastics, hair clips, and dry shampoo. Also, I packed my deodorant too!

I think I'm all prepared for my hospital trip - anything I am forgetting? Or you would recommend I include?

*Some products pictured are PR samples - any opinions are my own
