These lip liners The Plumpline™ Plumping Lip Liner’s thick pencil design allows you the versatility to define, shape, and fill in lips, while the built-in brush contours and defines.
The shade range offered has 20 different tones and ranges from nude to red to blackberry and everything in between!
Buxom Plumpline Lip Liner ~ $20.00. A plumping lip liner with versatility to define, shape, and fill in lips—plus, a built-in brush to blend and contour.
I love that this is a thick lip liner - you can use it is simply a thinner lip liner on it's own with the tip, or it is a great liner to fill in the whole lip as well. The brush is meant to contour and define the lips!
Stealth and Code Red were a little stiffer than the other formulas, but they still covered my lips well and looked good! Mystery was a little harder to work with - it was patchy no matter how much I smoothed it out. I will say, it still makes a great lip liner as the colour is beautiful (just not the best with a full coverage look!)
Stealth ~ nude
Ransom ~ pink nude
Incognito ~ warm nude
Hush Hush ~ cinnamon
Covert Affair ~ burnt red
Code Red ~ true red
Infrared ~ orange red
Espionage ~ blue red
Mystery ~ plum
These pictures are in the same order as the lip swatches!
Stealth appears to be a true nude - it is not a colour I wear very often but it is nice to have a nude in my collection!
Ransom is a light bubblegum pink nude - this is a cute, light pink but it is a little lighter than I am used to!
Incognito is a nice, warm nude and this is a the shade of nude that I would reach for - especially with my skin tone!
Hush Hush is probably the closet to my go-to shade! It is a cinnamon mauve shade and it is my favorite of all the shades!
Covert Affair is a burnt red - I am surprised how much I loved this shade and it goes well on my skin tone. I think this will be a perfect Fall shade!
Code Red is a stunning true red - I love this! I rarely find a red that actually looks wearable on me and this is it! This will be my go-to red!
Infrared is an orange red and while I like this colour, I'm not sure that it is right for me. With Spring and Summer on us, I will give it a shot and see if I can pull it off!
Espionage is a blue red - it is more of a berry toned shade to me. This shade is stunning and I will reach for it often.
Mystery is a plum - again, it was a little patchy on me but I still think it would make a great lip liner shade as it is a pretty shade!
This collection also contains pinks, melons, rose and browns so if there is something you are interested in - make sure to check these out!
Have you tried any of the Buxom Plumpline lip liners yet?

ReplyDeleteI love Hush Hush - such a great every day colour!
DeleteMystery does look patchy on you, I'm surprised because it looks smooth on me. Covert Affair makes your blue eyes pop!
ReplyDeleteYes - it looks like most people who got these really liked Mystery and it didn't look patchy. I must have gotten an off one!
DeleteLike I said on your Instagram, I'm so obsessed with these lip liners!! But I LOVE Infrared on you!! I know it's a hard colour to pull off but it just pops on your skintone!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I actually really like the colour - glad you think I can pull it off! I tend to shy away from the really bold, but it's worth wearing again!
DeleteI had no idea Buxon made lip pencils! These shades look beautiful on you

The nude pinks are so trendy and light lips are in - I think it's a good colour, just takes a little to get used to!!!
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteCan you check your collection to see if any of them have the number KJ09A on it? I used it to the point that the shade name was “sharpened away”, and all I can see is this number. Thank you.
Hey sorry, I don't have many left a couple of year later. Does the swatch remind you of any of these swatches, I could probably help!
