March 2017 - What I Bought This Month!

Maybe the start of this month's haul post should be, "Hello, my name is Renee and I am a beauty-shopaholic!" Whoops!!!

I love seeing people's monthly hauls or shopping lists and I wanted to join in at the start of 2017 for 2 reasons:
1. I don't always share everything that I'm purchasing and some of it gets lost and doesn't pop up here until my empties time, which could be a long ways away! It's a great way to keep track of what I'm buying and show you guys what's coming up!
2. Also, while I'm not planning a no-buy or anything, I think this will help keep me in check with my beauty spending this year! When the baby comes in May, my plan is to only spend about $100 per month on beauty products, including subscriptions!

I will only include products I have spent money on - gifts, pr samples, and freebies are usually shared on posts like my Five on Friday posts!

Sephora Order ~ $64.05. I had to put in an order at the start of March because I was so excited that Milk Makeup was coming to Canada!! I ordered the Holographic Stick (hello - Unicorn highlights!!! I will be reviewing this for you guys soon!) Also, had to pick up some brush cleaner and I wanted to try out a new Sephora Collection skincare product - Micellar Cleansing Milk (sounds so interesting! I will likely review it eventually!) The Clinique goodies were all my bonus code add-on, and the other 3 were my samples!

Scratch Monthly Mani Kit ~ $13.78. Usually this subscription is $10 US + $5 shipping, but they had a 40% coupon code for a day so I had to sign up again!!! I think it had been over a year since I signed up for the Monthly Mani Kit (because I legit have nail wraps for life already), but these wraps were so gorgeous I had to get them! And, the wraps in the subscription are not available for purchase from the store! I did a quick review on this here if you are interested!

London Drugs Order ~ $13.64. Okay, I had to get my hands on at least on of the NYX duo chromatic illuminating powders - this shade is Lavender Steel! They actually weren't available yet in store, and I didn't want to pay for shipping. So, the best part about London Drugs, if you online order from them and ship to store, it's free!!! (I will be reviewing this soon too!!!)

Skoah Hydradew Mask ~ $50.40 + $10.00 tip for my facial! I was pretty excited when I was given a facial at Skoah - I am a sucker for masks, so I really wanted to purchase and test a product from the brand as well! A moisture mask sounds perfect for me - I actually just reviewed this mask too - you can check out my thoughts here

Garnier Refreshing Remover Wipes ~ $10.50. I swear every type of makeup removing wipes I buy suck - this brand has been recommended by a few bloggers that I follow so I finally picked some up! And the verdict - way better than most I have tried!!!

Another Sephora Order! ~ $33.60. Alright, I blame my husband for making me put in this order (yes, Mitch you read that right!) He has been bugging me to find him a Tea Tree Shampoo - so this one came in to stock and I jumped on it! Also, picked up the Laneige mask because I wanted to try it (plus I wanted to spend at least $25 for the add on code!) I reviewed this mask here so you can check out my thoughts! Also, had to grab a sample of the Becca First Light Priming Filter & the other 3 are my freebies! Annnd... I got my VIB Rouge gift from last year as well!

Winners Haul ~ $23.08. I'm sure I need another set of masks but how could I resist kitty masks?! Also, I actually needed a new Emulsion (mine is almost out and I don't have a back up!!!) I haven't tried this Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Emulsion from It's Skin before so I'm hoping it's good!

Boxycharm ~ $35.65. I'm still paying for my Boxycharm subscription on a monthly basis - I'm going to sign up for a year subscription next month (since I'm off on maternity leave in May, I want this for a whole year without worrying about paying every month) Plus, I am really happy with this subscription! My review on the March box is here if you want to see it!)

Esme Beauty Bar - Manicure/Pedicure ~ $72.75. I loved treating myself to a Mani/Pedi - this was one of my must-do treat myself gifts after going off on leave from work pre-baby! I went on a Tuesday so they had a promo - buy 1 service and get 1 for free, so I paid for my pedicure (with a tip) and got my manicure for free! You can check my whole review on my services here!

So, it's a good thing that my $100 a month budget isn't serious until May of this year because I may have spent $327.45 this month! Good thing I'm really excited about everything I bought this month!
