October 2016 Boxycharm - Review and Unboxing

Boxycharm is $21.00 a month + $5.00 shipping to Canada (shipping is free to the U.S.) Boxycharm sends 4 to 5 full size and luxury size beauty items. (This is only the 4th month they have been shipping to Canada!)

Looking back at past reviews, this box focuses heavily on make-up items - so that is something to keep in mind! (I personally love all the makeup though and they have sent full size palettes in the past!) While it is a little pricier than the inexpensive beauty boxes, the majority of the products are full size!

Every subscriber generally receives the same products, but their is usually 1 or 2 items that have a few variations, so our boxes may not be identical!

Here is a look at October's Boxycharm:

October 2016 Boxycharm - Review and Unboxing

This month's theme is "Boxy Bazaar"! Boxycharm always includes a detailed product card explaining the items that were included in each month's subscription.

Here is a look at the products included in this month's box:
October 2016 Boxycharm - Review and Unboxing

IBY Beauty "Threes Company" Trio Eye Shadow ~ $19.00. These three "must have shades" are perfect for fast and easy eye shadow contouring. Use the trio to brighten and define your eyes and make them appear dramatically bigger.

This is a pretty, neutral palette - we did get another neutral palette last month, but the shades are different enough I will be able to keep both. I love the shades in this palette, but think it's weird that the shade names are not listed anywhere, not even the website.

Temptu "Shimmer Bronzer" ~ $29.50. S/B Bronze Shimmer bronzes and contours the complexion. This multi-use bronzer delivers a soft golden glow but can also be layered for a deep tan. Oil free, non-comedogenic, and hypoallergenic.

Hmmm... I don't love the idea of a liquid bronzer at all. I just don't think the formula would be easy to work with. I may give it a try but I'm not sure I will like it.

Starlooks Ultra Matte Lip Paint in "Piquant" ~ $19.00. An incredibly smooth, long-wear, velvety ultra-matte formula that provides full velvet lip coverage! Feels like you're not wearing anything on the lips, and does not transfer onto your drinking glass, or the lips of your significant other! 12-hour wear with minimal touch ups.

This is a darker shade than I would normally reach for, but it is a beautiful shade and so perfect for fall! I like this formula!

Luxie Beauty Eye Blender Brush Pack ~ $36.00. We collaborated with Luxie to bring you this fabulous Eye Blender 3-piece set! These cruelty free brushes are extremely soft and gentle enough for all skin types. An antibacterial coating helps keep the brushes clean and fresh. Blending your favorite shadows will be a breeze.

This is an exclusive set of brushes that isn't available from Luxie - you would have to buy them all individually! The 3 brushes included are:
-Luxie Rose Gold Tapered Blending Eye Brush #205 ($15.70) ~ With the tip of the brush, blend your best eyeshadow for a softer or more defined edge
-Luxie Rose Gold Tapered Blending Brush #229 ($15.70) ~ Blend eyeshadow colors along your crease to create deep seteyes
-Luxie Rose Gold Blending Brush #237 ($15.70) ~ Blend your favorite eyeshadow along the crease and outer
These brushes are vegan, cruelty free and so soft! I love this brush set!

Briogeo Rosarco Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant ~ $24.00. A weightless blow-dry finishing and heat protectant cream fortified with rosehip, argan, and coconut oils.

I feel like I am receiving more hair products than I can keep up with. This smells really good so I imagine I will get to it eventually!

Boxycharm came with 5 full sized items with a value of $127.50 - I really love that Boxycharm delivers full sized items and came with a huge value! Boxycharm boxes are generally the same among subscribers, but they do sometimes have a few variable items. This month's box was quite good - I will use everything, except the bronzer which is really great!

What did you think of the October Boxycharm?
