Ipsy is generally make-up products with a mix of skincare, nail polish, and hair products based on a beauty profile you complete. There is usually 12-18 products that are selected from each month! You can view your "glam room" online that tells you all the products you will receive each month. You also receive a make-up bag each month with your products.
Ipsy always ships out in it's signature pink mailer, and here is a look at what came inside!
This month's theme is "Destination Chic" and I have to say this bag is pretty awesome - a lot different than most of their bags!
Soo Ae Sheet Masks - Propolis, Brightening and Collagen Essence Masks ~ $9.00 ($3.00 each). O.M.G. sheet masks! These 3 sheet masks are specially formulated for amazing firming and brightening effects to revitalize tired, or stressed out skin. Collagen: Helps to restore and improve overall elasticity and firmness. Brightening: Packed with ingredients to correct hyper pigmentation and brighten skin, while improving overall skin tone. Propolis: Improves skin's elasticity and radiance with honey extract, known to fight the harmful effects of environmental stressors.
I love getting sheet masks in my subscriptions - I also loved that Ipsy included 3 masks as 1 items! I have not tried this brand before so I am happy to give these a try!
Smashbox X-Rated Mascara ~ sample size 0.1 oz for $8.33 (full size is 0.3 oz for $25). Smashbox is back at it again! This triple threat brush isolates and magnifies each lash, while applying its fiber-loaded formula. The result? Sky-high and defined lashes in just one swipe. Bonus: the formula is clump, flake and smudge-proof!
This is a new mascara from Smashbox so I am excited to try it out! They are a great brand and this mascara is well reviewed!
Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow Trio ~ sample size 0.7 oz for $8.40 (full size is 0.1 oz for $12). This shimmering trio of ipsy-curated shades includes Crush (beige), Skinny Dip (copper) and Lovely (brown). These richly pigmented, velvety-smooth eye shadows complement each other for a subtle yet glitzy everyday eye look.
I love that these are Ipsy created colors and you won't be able to go grab this off of the website! I have a ton of neutral eyeshadows, but these colors are really pretty so I am happy with this! (Sorry, I forgot to swatch this for you guys!)
Glamour Dolls Blending Brush #10 Sperm Whale Edition ~ $3.99. Work that crease with your new BFF our limited edition Blending Brush! Individually handcrafted for higher quality bristles, this brush is cruelty free and made with ultra soft, vegan friendly, synthetic hairs. When you apply your eyeshadow with this brush, you will totally WHALE it.
How cute is this brush?! I also don't have a smaller blending blush so this is great!
Clark's Botanicals Smoothing Marine Cream ~ sample size 15ml for $34.50 (full size is 50ml for $115). This best-selling moisturizer is your skin's new BFF. Thanks to soothing Jasmine and Glycolic Acid, this cream will help balance your stressed, dry or aging skin.
Is it bad that I really love getting expensive moisturizers in these bags? I know it sounds weird but it makes the value worth it as it is not something I would normally buy for myself! This is well reviewed and I look forward to using it!
Ipsy came with 5 products - but really 7 if you count each mask individually - (2 full sized), and a total value of $64.22. This is a good value and I am really happy with all the products included! I also thought this had a great mixture of skincare, makeup and tools! Really happy with this month's bag!
What did you think of the May Ipsy bag? What items did you get this month?
This is a great bunch of products! Do you think IPSY is better than Boxycharm? Can't decide!
ReplyDeleteI would subscribe to Boxycharm in a heartbeat, but they don't ship to Canada!
DeleteI will say though, Ipsy is less expensive, but Boxycharm seems to have more full sized products!
I think my favorite thing about Ipsy is the Glam Bag they come in. These bags are so creative and useful in the end. I really think Ispy is one of the best beauty boxes (bags in this case) out there. TopBox is another great one.
ReplyDeleteBoth my favorite beauty subscriptions - I usually love the Ipsy bags too!
