Skincare Sunday - VIIcode O2M Oxygen Masks Review

If you are a regular reader of this blog then you know I love all types of masks! I try to use eye masks when I can to help with dark circles and puffy eyes.

So, when I was approached by the company VIIcode to review their eye masks I was quite happy to oblige (these products were sent to me free for my honest review). If you look at their site, they have an eye cream that sells for over $1000! That is slightly out of my price range, but all they make are Eye Cream and Eye Masks so it is their specialty!

Here are the Eye Masks:

Viicode sent me their O2M Oxygen Mask - Eye Mask For All Night ~ $55 for 6 treatments. This mask works to make the skin around your eyes firm and smooth, thus eliminating wrinkles and lightening dark circles by strengthening and healing the skin.

These are actually different from mosts eye masks - you wear these overnight! Most eye masks you just put on for 20 minutes or so, but these you wear for 8 hours.

We want your eye skin to be the best it can be from the inside out. VIIcode oxygen mask provide everything your eye skin needs to be healthy - all the essential vitamins, antioxidants, proteins, botanicals, peptides, and essential fatty acids. Say goodbye to tired eyes, dark circles, and fine lines - now you can always look refreshed, bright-eyed and lively, soothing eye by VII oxygen mask. These pics of cool gel conform to the shape around the eye, infiltrating the entire area in soothing botanical extracts as well as targeting specific issues.

VIIcode's packaging is nice and sleek and the masks come in an accordion style package with eye treatment stored individually.
The directions for use are:
After facial cleansing, opening the bag along the gap, and extracting the eye masks from the aluminum bag. Tearing up the light membrane, applying the mask around the eye, gently pressing it to assist the skin absorbing the nourishment in the mask. Let masks work their brightening and hydrating magic no more than 8 hours, then remove.

The masks come in a little tray and you peel off the transparent layer and apply masks under the eye:

You leave them on as you sleep - I found that they stayed on surprisingly well throughout the night. Mine moved a little bit but I am a side and stomach sleeper so I thought they would fall off during the night and they did not!

Here is a before and after comparison:

I do think they worked on my under eye circles - I thought my eyes looked brighter and less puffy in the morning (these were taken right before wearing them and right after taking them off)

I do believe for $55 these are out of my regular skincare price range - but if dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines are some of your eye concerns and you can afford to wear great quality masks, these should be considered! I also think wearing them to bed is quite convenient - nice to wake up with bright eyes!
