Here is what I am reviewing this week:
Lush Fresh Face Mask "Love Lettuce" ~ $9.95. Love Lettuce is our exfoliating ground almond mask that scoops up dirt, oil and debris and washes it all away. Exfoliation is an important part of good skincare, as it removes the buildup of dead skin that can clog your pores and cause impurities. Love Lettuce is a great example of how just a few ingredients can make a fresh, effective product for the skin. We blend calming French lavender oil with seaweed and honey to nourish and soften skin, and to balance oily T-zones.
This mask includes honey, almonds and lavender oil to give your skin a "radiant glow"! Here is a look at the mask:
Green! I love it! I have used a couple other Fresh Face Masks from Lush and really like them, so I was excited to try this one. The one thing you need to remember is that these Fresh Face Masks must be stored in the fridge and they do come with an expiry date because they use ingredients that expire.
Here is how I used this mask:
1. Wash face
2. Use spatula (or fingers) to apply mask to face:
3. Leave on face for 5-10 minutes
4. Rinse off well
5. Complete nightly skincare routine!
Overall, I liked this mask. As you rinsed it off, it was very exfoliating! Felt really nice scrubbing it in to skin and rinsing off. The one thing I didn't like was that it was quite hard to rinse off! The little exfoliating pieces (I guess almonds?!) got everywhere and it took quite a few rinses to get the mask off!
I purchased this mask for brightening and my skin felt (and looked) great after using this! So, despite being difficult to rinse off, I will use this because the pay off is there!
Have you tried the Lush Fresh Face Masks before? What did you think?
The pieces are almond shell, extra scrubby! I love this one but I think I'd say Cosmetic Catastrophe would be my fav!
