May 2015 Bath Time Box Review and a Giveaway for Canadians!!!

This box has been provided free of charge for an honest review - all opinions are my own

Bath Time Box is a newer Canadian subscription box (started right here in Alberta - yay!!!). It focuses on products to help you rediscover bath time - I love baths so this box is right up my alley! This is the second box, February was the very first box!

Bath Time Box is described as:

"Designed and curated with the Bath lover in mind, each Bath Time Box contains 5 full and deluxe sample sized bath products carefully chosen to take your bath time to the next level.  Each box is carefully chosen with a focus on Natural and Handcrafted products.

Delivered to you monthly, each box will hold an assortment of luxurious milk baths, scintillating bubble baths, invigorating scrubs, nourishing lotions and so much more."

Bath Time Box is $29.00 monthly + free shipping. (If you sign up for 3 months, it is $85, and 12 months is $335 + free shipping).

Also, if you are interested in purchasing items from the box, you can go the Bath Time Box store: www.bathtimestore.com

Here is a look at the May 2015 Bath Time Box:

The boxes are always simply packaged but everything is wrapped securely!

Bath Time Box also includes a list of products included in the box (sorry, I bent it!):

I am always pleased with the variety in each of the boxes! My initial thoughts were that there would eventually be some repeat products, but Bath Time Box really takes care to ensure that each box has a good variety of products, and sends different products out each month! Everything included in Bath Time Box is handmade!!

Here is a closer look at the goodies inside:

Dead Seas Salt Scrub ~ $9.50. This scrub is a treat indeed! Dead Sea Salts blended with super loving oils with just a hint of Honeydew Natural Fragrance. Scoop some in to your pouf and scrub away impurities.
Here is a look at the scrub:

This also includes a little spatula to use (which I love - I dislike dipping my fingers in to pots so I love having extra spatulas)! This smells like Bubbalicious or Hubba-Bubba gum, so in other words, it smells amazing!!! And the scrub works well too!

Stress Away Bath Oil - Lavender and Chamomile ~ $12.50. Sweet Almond and Grapeseed Oil infused with calming Chamomile and blended with Lavender Essential Oils. Pour approximately 1 tbsp into your hot bath and use your new pouf to massage these skin loving oils into your skin or just soak and let them take away the day's stress!
I could not have received this bath oil at a better time - I used it last nights and it was awesome! I love the scent of lavender, so it was great but not overwhelming! This product will last quite a while only using 1 tbsp at a time!

A Touch of Shimmer Lotion Bar ~ $10. Your skin will thank you for rubbing in this moisturizing lotion bar made from Cocoa and Shea butters with beeswax and other skin loving oils and a hint of Coconut Lime Fragrance.
I have only tried one other lotion bar before, and I do have to say it is not my favorite way to apply lotion. I find it a little difficult to apply. I like the scent, it is very fresh and light and it feels great when it is on the skin! I prefer my lotions in a pot or a tube myself! (On that note, the whipped Shea lotion Bath Time Box sent in March is the greatest lotion ever, so I know their lotion products are good!!!) Again, I like the variety and that they don't just send a pot lotion all the time, because I know there are people out there who love a lotion bar!

Creamsicle Loofah Soap ~ $9.50. Our glycerin soap with a delightful surprise inside; an all natural loofah slice, and then topped with our super nourishing Shea Butter soap.
I have to say that Bath Time Box has turned me over to handmade soaps - from their first box, their soaps have been amazing!! I actually just placed an order for a few of their soaps I have enjoyed them so much. This soap smells awesome, I haven't tried it yet but if it is anything like their other soaps then I know it is going to be great!

Fruity Bath Pouf ~ $9. This colorful jumbo pouf is a perfect accompaniment to all of your scrubs and oils.
How cute is this - I think mine is a peach! It's actually about time I get a new shower/bath pouf! It is just not something I normally get for myself so this is great!

For $29, this box came with 5 items and a total value of $50.50. I thought there was a great variety of bath products in this box, and again for being such a niche box, every month has a good variety too - you will not get the same produces every month! Again, I love that everything included was all natural and hand made! This is a great self-care box and if you love baths, it is worth checking out!

  1. Thank you for another great contest! My favourite item to receive in a bath box would have to be bath oils. They smell so wonderful and you only need a small amount to go a long way. Great unboxing! Beautiful items!
