Manicure Monday - Pantone Colour of the Year Peach Fuzz Dotticure

Happy Manicure Monday - I hope you all had a good weekend and a good holiday break! 

I purchased these polishes

I love when Pantone announces their colour of the year; I always try and use it for inspiration! So for 2024 the colour is Peach Fuzz - I looove this light peach shade and it's a colour that I reach for often, so I feel like I will be using this for inspiration all year! 

For the month of January, the #CBBxManiMonday group is doing a Free-For-All theme, so we are just starting the year gathering some inspiration before we settle on themes for the next few months, I like starting the year this way. I will likely stick to some Peach Fuzz manicures! 

The products I used for this week's manicure are:

• Essie All-in-one top and base coat
• Nails Inc polish in Birds Before Boys
• Nails Inc polish in Peach Tease 
• Essie Gel Couture Top Coat

And, for this manicure I used a nail dotting tool! 

For this manicure, I started with a base coat and three coats of shimmery pink-peach polish as the base (this is a thinner polish, so to be fully opaque like I like it, I went with three thin coats instead of two thick coats!) Then, with a nail dotting tool and a light peach polish, I dotted on my dotticure, trying to keep it nice and uniform! Then, I finished with a long-wear top coat! 

Also, new year, new nail shape - do you like?! I have had square nails for years and feel like I'm getting with the program finally going for oval nails!
