Manicure Monday - Bookshelf and Cats Nails

Happy Manicure Monday - I hope you all had a great weekend!

I just unboxed my new Mani x Me box yesterday and the theme was Purrfect Prose, so naturally I had to do a cat and book themed mani and I love it! 

For the month of January, the #CBBxManiMonday group we have been going an Anything Goes theme for our nails - I've personally been sticking to a Peach Fuzz theme, for the Pantone Colour of the Year, but I had to veer away for cats and books! 

The products I used for this week's manicure:

• Essie All-in-one top and base coat
• Essie Expressie Buns Up polish
• Air Cushion Magic Powder Pen
• Maniology Nail Stamping polish in Straight-Up Black
• Maniology Purrfect Prose plate MXM119
• Maniology Smudge-Free Top Coat

I did also use my Pueen Latex Tape Liquid Peel Off Cuticle Guard for stamping and it's fabulous! 

For this manicure, I started with a base coat and two coats of a light tan polish as a base. Then, I stamped on the metallic air cushion for a shimmery look. Then, with a black polish and the bookshelf stamping plate, I stamped on cats and books! 

I love how it turned out - I was originally going to fill these in, but I love how they look right now!
