The BioSculpture and China Glaze polishes were received as PR samples
Even though it's past Valentine's Day, the #cbbxmanimonday group is doing white, red and pink nails for the whole month and I always love this colour palette - I love the nails we do this month and I get so much inspiration.
I've really been trying lots of stamping and fun things this month. I have been struggling a little with coming up with good painted nail art, but I have still been enjoying the simple nail art (polka dots and stripes) and I love how these stripes turned out and the added matte finish looks lovely!
The products I used for this week's manicure are:
- China Glaze polish in Summer Moon
- Bio Sculpture polish in Love
- Bio Sculpture polish in Royal Red
- Moyra Matte Top Coat
For this manicure, I started with a base coat and two coats of white polish as the base, then with the pink I painted a diagonal stripe across half the nail and fill it in. Then, with the red, I painted a stripe halfway up the pink. Then, I finished with the matte topcoat and love the finish with the polish shades!

I am always pleasantly surprised with how much of a difference a matte top coat makes! And hey, I'm all for simple manicures now! I don't think I could ever do the two hours for one hand that I used to do!
