I used to always have pick 5 products each month for my Monthly Favourites, but that is one thing I'm changing this year - whatever I'm loving, I will share whether it's 2 or 10 products!
Here is a look at the products I've been loving this month:
Skoah Gel Kleanser ~ $38.00 CAN. An oil-free, gentle face cleanser, free of harsh cleansing agents such as sodium lauryl sulfate and alcohol.
I always love finding a nice, gentle cleanser - this one is great as a second cleanser; but, it also is very capable of removing all my makeup and cleansing my skin on it's own without a balm or oil cleanser. It also is nice and gentle in the morning and my skin loves this - it's gentle and doesn't dry my skin out! A great overall cleanser and a little goes a long way!
XO Face Care Lunar Veil ~ travel size for $35.99 CAN and full size is $210.00 CAN. The lightweight overnight mask that seals in moisture, protects, and supports the natural regeneration processes of your skin. Perform your evening skin care routine and seal it in by applying a layer of Lunar Veil. Okay, this may be XO Face Care's hero product - it's been featured in Oprah Magazine and I picked up a travel size product a while ago so I could test out this formula (it's $210 for a full size so I need to try this out before I take that plunge!) This is such a gorgeous formula - it features bio ferment sea kelp, calendula, and chamomile and seriously delivers on the nourishing and the soothing. It protects and supports the natural regeneration processes of your skin and seals in the moisture - even the first night of using, my skin felt super smooth the next morning, so after weeks of use, it had made my skin overall so soft and improved!
ColourPop Glowing Lip in Get Right ~ $7.00 US. For the glowiest, plumpest pout in the game. This yummy, feel-good formula delivers a glossy pop of colour that glides on oh-so-smooth, making it perfect for everyday or nights out with the girls!
This is a newer lip formula from ColourPop and I wanted to try it out - it's supposed to give this smooth pop of colour and a hint of glow on the lips. The shade "Get Right" is called a candy red and it comes across a little rusty on the lips. This comes across a little more matte on the lips, but is softer than than a bullet lipstick, but more pigment than a tinted balm - it wears really well, longer lasting than I thought, wore off nicely and looks great on the lips!
