Five on Friday - November 12, 2021 ~ My 35th Birthday, Harry Potter Book Nook, Point Sushi, The Calgary Tower and Novelly Yours Circus of Dreams Candle Box

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a good week - I'm actually in Vancouver visiting my sister for the weekend, so I'm happy to have a girl's weekend, so it will quiet here! I hope we all took a little time to remember our veterans yesterday for Remembrance Day. 

ONE 

I purchased everything in this post

I turned 35 this past Sunday - it feels a little crazy! I thought I would be a little sadder that I'm now closer to 40 than 30, but I'm handling it okay! I know aging is a beautiful gift that not everyone is granted, so I'm trying to remember that, but it still feels weird not to be one of the young ones anymore! But, I had a great day out and about with all my boys! 

TWO 

I asked for a book nook for my birthday present and my husband made one and it turned out amazing! He would have ordered a kit, but painted it so well and added all the flowers and Hedwig in the tree. It looks amazing on my book shelf and he is so talented! I love it! 

THREE 

To celebrate, we spent the day downtown - we checked out Point Sushi and loved it! Everything is delivered on bullet trains and it's so much fun. It was probably the best Elliott has done at a restaurant because he had so much fun, plus the sushi was delicious! We will be back - in fact, E told me he wants to go back already! 

FOUR 

After we went for sushi, we walked over and took the boys to The Calgary Tower. Elliott was totally fearless - he went straight out to the glass and was looking down at the ground. The rest of us were all totally nervous but had to get out there too. It's really cool to check out and I'm glad the boys loved it! 

FIVE 

I'm so excited - my Novelly Yours Circus of Dreams Candle Box arrived! You should know by now, I'm pretty in love with The Night Circus and this Fall was the book's 10th birthday, so a few places did some limited edition releases, and I had to check them out! I love Novelly Yours candles and have previously picked up their subscription box a few times, when I liked their past bookish themes! 

So, I knew I couldn't resist the Night Circus one! This box was $52.99 US + shipping, and it shipped quickly once it was shipped out! It came with a book jacket, a mug, a tote bag, a double sided art print, a printed ticket, a sticker, a pin and 2 candles! The candles are for Marco and Celia and they are lovely scents! (There is still a few available if you are interested!)
