Manicure Monday - Christmas Nail Art

The countdown to Christmas is on!!! Woo hoo - only 2 days away! Today is my last work day before just over a week off, which I'm so excited about - I'm looking forward to the holidays with my family and some time off! It will probably be a quiet week around here so I can enjoy the holidays.

The #CBBxManiMonday group is carrying on with our holiday nail art for the whole month of December, and this week I went with some good ol' Christmas nail art!

I couldn't pick one Christmas decoration, so I decided to go with a whole mix of them - Christmas lights, Holly, Santa hat, and a Christmas tree! I love how these all turned out! They are nice and coordinating and so cute!

The products I used for this week's Mani are:
I also used a dotting tool, but you could use the nail art polishes or a tooth pick too!

For this nail art look, I started with a nail cleanser, base coat and two coats of a light green polish as a base coat.

For the Christmas lights, I used the black nail art polish to create a string. Then using the green, red, white and silver polishes and created little lights hanging under the string.

For the Holly, I used a nail dotting tool with the red polish to create three berries, then added a small white dot in the middle. I used the green nail art polish, and painted on holly leaves, then placed a small silver line for the vein in the middle of the leaf.

For the Santa hat, I used the red nail art polish and painted a hat shape in the centre of my nail. Then using a dotting tool and the while polish, a created the white trim at the bottom and a pom pom at the top. Then, to tie in the colours, I added a little layer to the trim in silver!

And, for the Tree, I used the green nail art polish and painted on the shape of the tree. Then with a dotting tool, I added on ornaments in white, silver and red. Then, with the black polish I added a trunk to the tree (because I didn't have a brown!)

I love how these all tied in with each other and they feel perfectly festive!
