I saw these recently on Cosmetic Proof and I couldn't resist picking them up in my latest Shopper's order! Again, I'm super excited to see drugstore brands making skincare and masking more accessible and these ones from St. Ives sounded really good! I really like the packaging too!
These masks are made with 100% naturally sourced extracts and are paraben free. They are 100% cotton masks.
St. Ives Glow Apricot Sheet Mask ~ $3.49 CAN. DITCH THE DULL! This sheet mask, made with 100% naturally sourced apricot extract, helps refresh skin so you can bring on the glow.
It seems fitting that they came out with an Apricot mask, as St. Ives is basically known for their Apricot scrub line!
This mask is straightforward to use - wash face, dry skin, apply mask and wear for 10 minutes, then remove mask and massage remaining essence in to skin.
First, this mask smelled amazing - if you smelled the apricot scrub, it smelled just like that (or my memory of that scrub since it's been a while since I've used it!) I thought overall, this was a great mask - it fit nicely; but, I always wish for a few extra tabs to help it fit better around the temples.
This actually wore on me for 45 minutes as it had lots of essence. It did leave my skin quite tacky after removing it - I don't mind this much, but it's something to note. I did think my skin looked bright and refreshed after wearing this! I thought the results were really good and I love seeing this at an affordable price!
St. Ives Revitalizing Acai Sheet Mask ~ $3.49 CAN. SUPERFOODS AREN’T ONLY FOR YOUR SMOOTHIES! This sheet mask, made with 100% naturally sourced acai, blueberry, and chia seed oil extracts, revitalizes tired skin by giving it a boost of instant hydration.
A revitalizing mask with acai, blueberry, and chia seed oil sounds amazing! This collection also contains a soothing oatmeal mask that I'd love to try soon as well!
This mask is applied just like the other mask - wash face, dry skin, apply mask, wear for 10 minutes and remove mask and massage remaining essence in to skin!
This mask smells really yummy as well - like fruit or berries! This mask felt a little bit thicker than the Apricot mask and had less essence overall - this wore on me for about 20 minutes. This mask could have used more tabs to help fit my face better.
I thought my skin was super soft after wearing this and my skin looked smooth and really great the next morning too!
Overall, I really liked these masks from St. Ives and really want to try the Oatmeal Soothing mask too whenever it's available at Shoppers! I enjoyed both of these masks; but, in terms of fit, wear and results - I really loved the Apricot mask! It was fantastic!
Are you guys interested in trying these masks?!
