January 2018 - Monthly Favorites!

Here are the top 5 products that I have been loving this month:

Living Proof Restore Perfecting Spray ~ $38.00 CAN for full size (also available in mini size for $21.00 CAN). A featherweight leave-in formula that delivers all the benefits dry, damaged hair needs to look and feel healthier.

I had been pretty loyal to my Briogeo leave-in spray and it was good; but, it just wasn't as good as it could be so I wanted to try something new and this was highly reviewed. It's a touch pricey so I picked it up during the VIB Rouge sale and I have loved it! This actually makes my hair super smooth, detangled, and soft. This is light and doesn't weigh down my hair at all; but, makes my hair look really nice!

ColourPop Take Me Home Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ~ $15.00 CAN/$12.00 US. Your right hand, your go-to. This mini 6 pan palette has you covered for your everyday necessities. Includes the perfect, best-selling warm-toned shades, a mix of matte and metallic finishes, and a mirror, this baby is a keeper. Keep one in your purse for touch ups or keep it displayed on your vanity, it’ll be a staple in your collection.

This palette is awesome - it is a perfect little neutral palette that is perfect to take on the go and makes it quick and easy to do eye makeup with! This was the only palette I took on my trip to California and it worked so well - I love the shades. The shadows are a touch powdery, so make sure to tap it off prior to using this; but, they blend and apply well. I do have a review coming soon so you can see it in action! And, I picked this up while it was available at Sephora, so hopefully it goes back on there for us Canadians.

Mac Prep + Prime Fix+ Coconut ~ mini size $14.00 CAN (or full size is $30.00 CAN). A lightweight water mist that gently soothes and refreshes skin and finishes makeup. All Sized to Go products are totally tote-able in an airport-friendly size of 30ml or less.

I have loved the Fix+ for a long time (June 2016 when it was in my favorites before) and I try not to repeat favorites; buuuuut, this one is different because it's Coconut scented and it's a mini! So, coconut first - this smells amazing! (I did receive this in a Christmas scent with a mini lavender and rose, so I'm not sure if the scented ones are available in minis for individual sale). And, the mini size was so amazing this month for travel - it really renewed my love for this product; because, I literally used this for ALL it's uses! I primed my face with a sprtiz, I sprayed my beauty sponge and shadow brushes and I set my face with it and it's sooo good!

The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Tissue ~ $6.00 CAN. These practical cleansing wipes eliminate makeup residue and impurities. Enriched with a blend of 9 herbs known for their moisturizing properties, they allow you to cleanse your skin without irritation.

I have always struggled to find face wipes that work and recently I have come across a couple lately that I really like; but, these actually stand out to me! I had used them in the past and liked them; but, it's been a couple of years. My husband picked up a little mystery box from The Face Shop for me for Christmas and it came with a couple of these packs of wipes. These are so saturated in products and just work so well to actually remove all your face makeup, including mascara, with one wipe and still have enough to remove swatches, etc.

Seacret Pro Styling Hair Brush ~ $33.60 CAN. Ideal for all hair types, this innovative brush is designed for easy every-day smoothing and styling. Ergonomic design follows the contours of the head for increased comfort. Uses combination of bristles forsoft brushing and painless detangling.

This hair brush is designed to detangle, smooth and style - I'm a huge fan! My hair dresser used this on me a few times and I finally had to ask what is was and asked if she could get me one too! It's curved so that it smooths really nicely around the scalp and is so gentle on my scalp and hair. It is amazing at detangling without pulling or breaking my hair at all.

These are maybe a bit more boring products for my favorties; but, January was a pretty quiet month in terms of trying out new products. These are all pretty staple products in my collection that I will continue to use!
