November 2014 Nina Garcia Quarterly Co. Box #NG04 Review and Unboxing

Quartely Co. features quarterly subscription boxes curated by celebrities and personalities you love. The subscriptions range from fashion to food to books and include packages curated by people from Bill Nye to Pharrel Williams to Rosario Dawson, etc. Most packages are $50 but a couple are $100 plus shipping (shipping to Canada is a little hefty on this site - $10-$20 per package so make sure you are signing up for one you really want!).

This Nina Garcia box was originally set to ship in September of this year and has been pushed back to November waiting for some products. The Nina Garcia Box is $100 + $20 shipping to Canada. This is pricey box; however, Nina's boxes usually have a great value!

Here is the November 2014 Nina Garcia Quarterly Co Box #NG04:

Quarterly boxes always come with a nice letter from the curator - the theme for this month's box is described as "Winter Essentials".

My first thought is how much I love this bag! (It actually seems like quite a bit less than what I got in the last Nina box, but there is still some good stuff!) Here is a closer look at all the products I received:

Pantone Universe Coffee Mug in Graphite ~ $17. This item was included because whether you are a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate drinker, the winter is a time for hot beverages to keep you warm. I find that having a stylish go to mug makes the experience even better.
A mug is always handy to have - this one isn't anything special, but it's cute!

Rue Gembon Earrings "Paola Gold" ~ $65. Ear jackets are the accessory of the season and we can not get enough. So go on add Paolo Gold to your collection - with her stylish pearl and crystal fan design, this earring will have them gushing in envy.
I didn't know these were ear jackets - here are what they look like while wearing:

I really like these! Here is why Nina included them: these earrings are a versatile accessory in that you can wear them to both the office and out to dinner or a party. They are also a good way to show your personal accessory style when you are all bundled up.

RGB Polish in "Oxblood" ~ $18. This polish color is a "deep bordeaux red" and is described as the nail polish color every woman should own. Nina included this chic, wintery color because she likes knowing that underneath my gloves, my hands are sporting a great manicure.
Sorry, I forgot to include a swatch, but this is a great color - unlike anything I have and is a good winter color!

NUDE Skincare ProGenius Treatment Oil ~ 0.5 oz for $49. A daily age-defying omega face oil formulated with a precise blend of 10 natural plant oils to instantly smooth and hydrate skin. This product is vegan and formulated without PEGs, TEA, DEA, propylene, glycol, petrochemicals, synehetic color, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, and silicones.
Nina include this because:
I like this product! This will go in to my skincare rotation for sure!

The Laundress Sweater Comb ~ $18. In order to keep my delicate knits looking their best, this removes pills and keeps everything looking renewed and refreshed season after season.
This is handy tool - I had a battery powered pill remover that I loved but they kept breaking so this seems to be a better idea!

Ballin' Hat by Brian Litchenberg ~ $48. Nina include this item because "Brian's pieces are playful and adored by the fashion set. This hat will keep you cool and stylish all season long."
I don't wear toques very often but I actually kind of like this one! I know a lot of people wear not happy with this item because they didn't think it was something Nina herself would wear! I kind of like it - I think I will wear it!

Cross-Body Handbag by Deux Lux ~ approx $75. This is a beautiful vegan leather bag (the fringe and cross-body style is on trend right now) and I am very happy I got black! This bag was included because a "seasonal handbag is a great way to update your look and make your wardrobe feel fresh".
I love this bag - it is not something I would ever buy myself but I love it - I have already worn it a couple of times!

So this box was about $120, and the value of the products totalled $290.00. I loved the variety in this box and I am happy with most of the items inside! Nina's boxes always have a great value and a great variety. I love this subscription, it is a nice splurge a couple of times a year!

Did you get Nina Garcia's Quarterly Box? What did you think of this box?
