Memebox Special #11 Cacao Cosmetics - Review and Unboxing

Memebox is a Korean Beauty Box company. Memebox is not a monthly subscription box - they instead have a ton you can choose from ranging in price from $15 and up. The boxes have different themes and their are limited quantities (from what it looks they, they are very popular and the boxes sell out quickly!) The boxes come with 4-8 full size and deluxe sample size items & they usually show you 1 spoiler from the box and the rest are all surprises! Shipping to Canada is $6.99. 

Memebox was intriguing and when I saw a coupon code earlier this month for $15 off your first box I was sold! 

I picked Memebox #11 Cacao Cosmetics. The box retailed for $23 US + $6.99 shipping. With my $15 off coupon (sorry expired now) My box worked out to $14.99 - with the exchange rate I paid $16.47.

Standard shipping from Korea can take anywhere from 10-20 days. I was shocked to see my box shipped on July 18 and arrived at my house by July 24! I was honestly not expecting to see this box until August!

The description of the box: whoever said chocolate is bad for you? Your skin we mean! In the ancient world, Cacao was regarded as the Food of the Gods due to the many beauty benefits it offered for both the skin and health. With its high antioxidant content, raw cacao is guaranteed to make your skin appear dramatically healthier as it locks in nutrients and collagen within the skin, while also removing any excess oil and impurities from the pores.

Woo hoo - lots of goodies! Let's take a closer look at the products I received:

WondeRuci Cacao Brightening Mask ~ full size $28 US. This cleanses away dirt and impurities & work to brighten and moisturize your complexion. This honestly looks and smells just like chocolate - I cannot explain how delicious it smells! Has the consistency of icing/chocolate syrup. It made my skin feel great; I really enjoy this mask!

Pure Smile Choosy Lip Scrub Chocolate ~ full size $10. Gentle lip scrub for removing dead skin & nourish dry, chapped lips. I have not tried this product yet but this will come in handy in our dry climate!

Pure Smile Essence Mask Chocolate Milk ~ 1 mask sheet $1.20. Replenish complexion and helps to hydrate and smooth out uneven skin. I have not yet used this mask; however, I like mask sheets (much easier to remove!) and I imagine it will be good!

Etude House Milk Talk in "Choco" ~ full size $5.85 US. This can be used as a body wash and a bath milk. I will use this for both - but I can imagine how great a chocolate smelling bubble bath would be with a glass of wine! I'm looking forward to it!

Evas Vitamin Cleansing Dessert Magic Cream Soap Coconut & Cacao ~ full size size $18. I have no link to this product because I can't find it anywhere - but it looks like Evas specializes in foamy cleansers. This is a light and fluffy cleanser that is designed to be smoother as to not irritate the skin. I have not tried this cleanser yet but it smells good; i look forward to trying it. I usually prefer cleansers that come in squeeze bottles instead of a pot, but I will still happily use this. 

Purederm Nose Pore 6 Strips Choco Cacao ~ $9.99 US full size for 6 strips. I was actually quite excited when I saw nose strips - I remember my sister and I using these together forever ago! Used to unclog blackheads, etc on the nose. I just used this and I can tell you, you don't want to see before and after pictures! They worked great!

This box came with $73 worth of products! For $16 what a great deal - but even if I had paid the full price with shipping of $30, this box would have been totally worth it. I will use everything in the box and I love that everything was full sized!
