July 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag - Review and Unboxing

Ipsy is a beauty bag subscription that that sends you 4-5 deluxe sample or full size products each month. The cost in $10 + $4.95 shipping to Canada (I paid $16.35 with the exchange rate). Ipsy is generally makeup products with a mix of skin care or nail products based on a beauty profile you complete.

Here is a look at my July 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag:

I love the cute little pink mailer they ship in! Here is a look at what I got!:

The theme of this month is Sensationally Sun-kissed. The little pink bag it came in was really cute too! I will have to find a use for it!! It looks like a great mix of products this month; let's take a closer looks at my goodies!

Tints & Sass Fabulous Lip & Cheek Stain in "Cherry" ~ full sized product for $22.99. Said to be non-drying, long-lasting, and lightweight. I tried it out on both my lips and cheeks. Here is a look at what it looks like:

So this did not look good on my lips - I didn't think it matched my skin tone at all. It dried fairly quickly on the cheeks and i should probably only put a little tiny bit on at a time. As you can see from this photo it didn't blend that well! I do actually like this color for the cheeks so I will practice with this a little bit more to see if I can use it!! (I have never used a liquid product on my cheeks before!)

bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow 2.0 in "Muse/Passion" ~ sample size 0.03 oz for $6 (full size is 0.1 oz for $20). Muse is described as pink frost and Passion is a glimmering plum. The eyeshadow is said to be vivid, long wearing and smooth! I love that the little package came with 2 options on how to wear the colors as well. Here is a look at the 2 colors on me:

I really like both colors - the eyeshadow went on really well and the pigment was great! I will definitely be wearing these colors!

Whet refined nail lacquer in "Facetious" ~ sample size 10 ml for $10 (full size is 15 ml for $15). 3 free & vegan formula - I love this color! I'm thinking it is perfect for next monthly pedicure it will be nice and bright - the polish looks a little on the thin side but I will be able to review that better when I try it!!

Clear Clinic Laboratories Clear Spot Treatment ~ sample size $9.34 for 2 ml (full size is $35 for 7.5 ml). Apply this potent spot treatment to quickly clear blemishes in record time. Thanks to its clear formulation, you can use vanished during the day, under and over makeup. I have been using this and have noticed a difference, it works great - the best part is that even though this is a sample size, you use such a small amount that this will last for a while!

Pur~lisse Pur~protect SPF 30 Daily Moisturizer ~ sample size 15ml for $16.50 (full size is 50ml for $55). I received this brand in my last ipsy bag (or the one before) and I did just receive a full size of this moisturizer in my FabFitFun box. I won't complain about it though - this sample itself is worth as much as I paid for the bag! I do enjoy really like this moisturizer so this will happily get used!

So for $16, I received $64.83 worth of products! What a great value. I really love 4 out of 5 products and I am going to keep trying with the cheek tint to see if I can get it to blend properly on me! If you haven't signed up for Ipsy yet and would like to, I would love it if you used my referral code!: http://www.ipsy.com/r/b8nk
