Storybook Cosmetics Book Club Subscription Box - October 2019 Volume 2 Sherlock Holmes

I finally received my Storybook Book Club Volume 2 palette! Yay! Volume 1 was actually shipped all the way back in November 2018 and was an adorable Pretty Woman palette!

In my post about Volume 1, I did speak to the experience with the subscription thus far, so I won't get in to lengths about it again; but, this did have some set backs. Volume 2 originally renewed in February 2019 and was supposed to ship that month. Unfortunately, Storybook Cosmetics ran in to some issues at the lab and I believe they switched labs to reformulate the shadows that weren't working in the original lab.

February 2019 Monthly Haul - What I Bought

Time for a look at everything I picked up this month - I really love these Monthly Haul posts - they give me a way to share everything I pick up each month as I don't always post about everything I get! 

Plus, this year I think they will hold me a little more accountable - I put myself on a  $100 a month budget, not really because I need to; it's actually more to test myself and be more conscious about what I purchase. I also really want to make sure that I'm enjoying and using everything on my collection! 

Facebook Find ~ $7.00 CAN. I have raved about the Laneige Lip mask before - it made my Best of 2018 Discoveries, which means it is amazing! This really saved my lips and I had to pick up more! I found this little mini of the Laneige in vanilla and the person I bought it from threw it a few extras, which where Sephora Collection lipsticks and a little Laneige mini!

This might be a bit of a long post, I feel like I have a lot to talk about in terms of my experience with the Storybook Cosmetics Book Club Subscription Box! 

Storybook Cosmetics announced back in May 2018 that they were coming out with a subscription box and that it would available in August 2018. I was very excited about this subscription - it was at a time I was getting frustrated with my beauty subscription boxes and was looking for a unique makeup subscription! I signed up and paid immediately (May 8th to be exact!)

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all had a great week! This was a short week here; but, am I the only one that finds they seem to be the longest?! Also, Elliott has been sick still all week so we have had a lot of long nights!
