October 2020 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

I always love my Monthly Haul posts, so I can share with you everything I picked up in the month; because, as much as I love blogging, I can't share every single thing I picked up! 

Instead of budgeting each month, I'm just sticking to the being more conscious about my purchases and just make sure it's makeup that I will really like before buying it! I want to make sure that I can use and enjoy the products I have in my collection and that I will really use the products I picked up!

I've never placed an order from e.l.f. but they have free shipping over $30 - I've been pretty excited to try these face duos so I couldn't wait for them to come to Shoppers or Walmart online any longer! Also, these Sheer Lipsticks sound lovely! Plus, I picked up a few masks to meet the minimum for free shipping. I'm excited to use these!

Happy Manicure Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of Fall?! Whoa!

I had to go with the "Fallest" mani I could come up with that was a deep wine manicure with Fall leaves changing colours! I'm really happy with how this one turned out - these will look fantastic while drinking my Pumpkin Spice Latte tomorrow (just kidding - I totally had one before the first day of Fall!)

Manicure Monday - Reverse Stamping Rainbow Nails

Happy Manicure Monday everyone! Can you believe it's June already?! I know people are tired of hearing that, but seriously, that month just flew by! 

For the month of June, the #CBBxManiMonday group decided to try something new for our theme and went with a Nail Art Roulette style of picking our themes! As a group, we picked 5 colour ideas -  sunset, rainbow, pink, black & white, and neon and 5 themes - gradient, packaging inspired, matte, texture and minimalist. Then, we are each randomly picking numbers to create totally random pairings! And, what's really fun is we don't know what everyone else picked each week, so it's a surprise!

For this week, I got Rainbow and Minimalist - these ended up being slightly less minimalist than I was going for; but, I really love how they turned out. I thought the little rainbows and clouds would be perfect for the minimalist theme and started with them just on an accent nails, but they were so cute I just couldn't stop stamping. (Not surprising, I'm not a great minimalist to begin with!)

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! It was Mother's Day weekend; but, it was a little snowy and rainy here in Calgary so I did my nails really bright and colourful to brighten things up for me!

For the month of May, the #CBBxManiMonday group chose the theme of "May Flowers", so this week I went with a hand-painted, colourful mix of flowers! I really wanted the bright yellow base and I love how it turned out!
