Happy Manicure Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of Fall?! Whoa!
The OPI polishes were received as PR samples
I had to go with the "Fallest" mani I could come up with that was a deep wine manicure with Fall leaves changing colours! I'm really happy with how this one turned out - these will look fantastic while drinking my Pumpkin Spice Latte tomorrow (just kidding - I totally had one before the first day of Fall!)
For the month of September, the #CBBxManiMonday group is going with the theme "Fall Colours" all month for our manis and I'm all about this theme!
- OPI Infinite Shine Primer
- Maniology polish in Merlot
- OPI polish in Glitter All The Way
- OPI polish in Dreams on a Silver Platter
- Maniology polish in Spiced Orange
- Kiss nail art paint in orange
- Innisfree polish in #203 Woody
- Moyra Top Coat for Nail Stamping
- Orly instant artist in Jet Black (not pictured)
For this week's manicure, I started with a base coat and two coats of a merlot base polish. Then, using the glitter polishes, I concentrated the glitter at the tips of the nail and brought it lightly down to the middle of the nail.
Then using the orange, yellow and bronze polishes I painted the shapes of leafs on the nail, focusing on the tip of the nails. Then, I used the black nail art polish to create the veins of the leaves. I finished the nails with the nail art top coat!
I feel like these are the perfect nails for the first week of fall and I love the deep vampy shade - I rarely reach for these deep reds and it's perfect! And as always, make sure you check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love to see their Fall nails!
Looks great :-D
