L'Oreal Air Volume Mega Mascara in Blackest Black ~ $16.99 CAN.The Air Volume formula is air whipped to create a lash multiplying effect with high volume charge that is weightless on lashes.

This was one of the new hyped up mascara, so I picked it up and gave it a try a few times, but I didn't like this at all, in fact, it may be one of the worst mascaras I've tried. I liked the brush shape, but the formula is too wet, I hate the packaging so that it doesn't stand up, it was wet clumpy, give me spidery lashes and then also smudged and transferred everywhere.

Repurchase: Noooooo

This month is rare because I do not often talk about hair products (my hair is pretty plain and flat so it always take something extra special to make me excited about hair!) and then I have lots of skincare with just a little touch makeup too! 

August 2020 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

I set one of my 2020 goals to be actually sticking to my $100 a month Beauty Budget - and I've been stressing out trying to stick to it. Evidently I am not a "budget" type and I don't want to get myself worked up over it. One of the reasons I wanted to stick to a budget was so that I'm a little more conscious about my purchases and just make sure it's makeup that I will really like and I want to make sure that I can use and enjoy the products I have in my collection and that I will really use the products I picked up! 

I always love my Monthly Haul posts to share with you everything I picked up (since I can't review everything I buy)!

XO Treatment Room ~ $87.15 CAN. This was my first time trying out XO Treatment Room skincare and I cannot wait to try more - spoiler alert, this was worth every penny I spent on this! It is a leave on pineapple exfoliator and it's so gentle yet effective! You can see a full review of this product here! 

July 2017 - Monthly Empties!

Time to look at my beauty trash! 

Benefit Cosmetics Stay Don’t Stray Eyeshadow Primer ~ sample (full size is $35.00). A primer for concealers and eyeshadows. 

This was okay - I feel like I have been using this forever, which is good but I just didn't love it. It did the job and kept my shadow in place for the most part, just nothing spectacular.
Repurchase: Not likely

Five on Friday - July 21, 2017

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all had a great week - we did! Elliott slept through the night for the first time this week! 10 hours from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. I was so excited! It's not a regular thing yet, but it was still pretty great. Also, I finished a book this week so I am feeling like a normal person again!

I have talked about this Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ PA++++ on the blog - it made my monthly favorites back in July 2016 and it is still a favorite! So I went to buy the 2015 version (because I had read they changed the formula with this year's version and I like the old version).
