Back in 2022, I set a monthly beauty and books budget at $200 per month and I've been pretty good about sticking to it! I am trying to be thoughtful in my purchases, so this has been holding me accountable for being reasonable with my spending. Since it worked so well last year, I'm really trying to do the same thing this year!
I do always love my Monthly Haul posts - it's a good way to keep track of everything that I picked up each month. I don't always blog about everything I pick up (I try to), but if you ever spot anything in here that you really want me to talk about, let me know!
XO Treatment Room Heavy C ~ $103.45. This is my holy grail vitamin c serum - I ran out and picked this up (and then got a different one to try in PR first so I'm saving this), but this uses a special vitamin c molecule that doesn't irritate or break out my skin and it's just so good! Highly recommend!
Indigo Preorder ~ $22.98 CAN. This book is so stunning - I couldn't resist pre-ordering it (I was expecting it to be in a book box, but happy to pick it up this way) and it's like vampires and a tea shop and I can't wait to read it!
Amazon Polish Order ~ $14.63 CAN. I love the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polish and love the shades they released for their birthday this year and I picked up the shade Pink An Outfit and you can see it in action here!
Shopper's Order ~ $4.03 CAN. I was pretty excited to see these Biore UV Aqua Rich sunscreens on Shoppers (but they've been reformulated for Canada, so I'm going to get together a comparison post with the original formula). I'm slow at trying everything right now. I picked up more Quo pads for my nails, and a few new Essense mascaras to compare all the formulas. I also picked up the Nails Inc Mani Marker - you can see this in action here!
Facebook Marketplace Finds ~ $10.00 CAN. I found a few special edition Fairyloot paperback books on marketplace - these are signed and one has sprayed edges and I can't wait to read these!
Stylevana Order ~ $20.78 CAN. As mentioned above, I needed to pick up a new sunscreen in the original Japanese formula to compare to the reformulated one!
Indigo Preorder #2 ~ $28.34 CAN. This is a new, really hyped romantasy and I can't wait for this to arrive and me to read it! It's not quite here yet, but it's released and on it's way to me!
Nail Stickers ~ $4.00 CAN. I was cruising around Chapters and I found these around the checkout for $5 with my discount - I love these. You can see them on my nails here!
So, I spent $208.21 CAN this month on books and beauty - pretty good, I know I went a little over in January, so trying to rein it in a little and I managed pretty well!
