Manicure Monday - Matte Purple Abstract Nails

Happy Manicure Monday everyone - hope you had a great weekend! It was a good weekend here and nice out so we got a little tobogganing in yesterday!

This whole month the #CBBxManiMonday group is doing purple and blue nails for the 2022 Colour of the Year "Very Peri" - so last week's nails were blue, so I wanted to play with my purples this week! 

This style is very inspired by an abstract look that Cosmetic Proof did previously, but I made mine all purple and matte for a fun little twist! 

The products that I used for this week's manicure are:

• Maniology Stamping Art Polish in Yummy Gummy
• OPI polish in Hello Pretty
• ORLY Instant Artist Lacquer in Crisp White
• Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Sour Patch Kids Ghouls Night Out polish
• Moyra Matte Top Coat 

I also used a dotting tool for this manicure! 

For this manicure, I started with a base coat and two coats of the light purple for the base coat! Then, with the dark purple, I freehanded the wavy purple shape on to the nails and added a second coat. Then, with the white nail art polish, I created a similar shaped wavy line in the middle of the light purple. Using the dotting tool and the black polish, I dotted different sized dots on both sides of the white way line! I finished with the matte top coat!
