I was very excited when I saw not too long ago that Danessa Myricks Beauty announced that they were coming to Sephora Canada! Danessa Myricks is an international makeup artist and her brand has really unique and innovative formulas that really stand out as something new on the market, which I love!

The range of products include a dew wet hydrating balm, beauty oil, adjustable coverage concealer and foundation and more. What I love about the products is that all seem to be multi-purpose and work in a variety of ways - I appreciate that for working makeup artists, but also for the convenience of regular makeup wearers to have products that cover multiple areas!
So, I picked up the Colorfix Cream pigment and Vision Flush which are both triple use products made for eyes, cheeks and lips!
Danessa Myricks Beauty Colorfix Eye, Cheek & Lip Cream Pigment in Venus ~ $24.00 CAN. An award-winning, multipurpose, long-wearing cream pigment that can safely be used on your eyes, lips, and cheeks for up to 24 hours.
This cream pigment comes in 3 different finishes: mattes, metallic/foils, and high-shine/glaze. I picked up one of the metallic foil finishes in Venus, and it is described as a honey pink foil. This versatile formula is waterproof, crease-proof, highly pigmented formula that rapidly dries for easy application and minimal fallout!
Here is a look at Venus on my lids - this was a very pigmented foil shadow that dried down quickly upon application. I found figuring out how best to apply this the first time a little tricky - it stuck to a brush a little, but applied well with a finger tip. I've used it as an all over shadow to demonstrate pigmentation, but this will likely be best as an accent shadow gently tapped on top of an eyeshadow look, as opposed to a whole eye look like this.
Danessa Myricks Beauty Vision Flush Blush, Eyeshadow and Lip Color in Bread 'n Butter ~ $26.00 CAN. A long-lasting, blendable, multiuse liquid pigment for your cheeks, lips, and eyes.
This Vision Flush product is a multi-use product for cheeks, lips and eyes - they are a satin and semi-matte finish! This provides a natural flush of color to give the skin a healthy, radiant look with a smooth texture! I picked up Bread 'n Butter and the shade is described as natural pink.
Here is a look at the Vision Flush in Bread 'n Butter on my cheeks and lips - I think this shade is super pretty. This dries down nicely on the cheeks and looks gorgeous, but it stayed satin on the lips so it didn't full dry down - still really pretty, just a little more moveable than I initially thought!
And, here is a look at the products swatched! The top is the Danessa Myricks Vision Flush Blush, Eyeshadow and Lip Color in Bread 'n Butter and the bottom is Danessa Myricks Colorfix Eye, Cheek & Lip Cream Pigment in Venus. Both are beautiful shades!
Here is a look at a full look with the Danessa Myricks products - my eyes have Venus on the lids and the lips and cheeks have Bread 'n Butter! I do love the look of the products overall!
So, while I found the products a little tricky to work with (nothing crazy, but the eyeshadow dries quickly and lip product is a little creamier than I expected) - they aren't bad formulas, just a tad more finnicky than I thought. I think the final results are pretty and I'm excited to incorporate them in to my makeup looks. I'm also interested to see what else Danessa Myricks releases and am excited about more innovative, fun formulas!
