Mask Wednesday - Pure Aura Karma Glitter Hologram Foil Sheet Mask

Happy Mask Wednesday - I feel like I have been away from home for weeks so I might be a little slow getting back in to things on here! (I had two solid weeks of holidays and then a couple extra weekends and I'm pretty exhausted now.)

So, who hasn't seen those memes of sheet masking fixing everything - that's exactly how I feel right now. Just put all the sheet masks on my face and make me feel 100% again, k thanks. But in all seriousness, this is a detoxify holographic foil mask, and that sounds like it would be perfect for me right now!

This mask is a foil mask - this outer layer is meant to help keep the essence on the skin and I find it really helps the product absorb in to the skin. The back side of the mask is charcoal based so it's meant to be detoxifying, remove excess oil and draw out impurities from the skin while leaving the face clean and hydrated! 

This mask is straightforward to use - wash face, apply mask one piece at a time and wear for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove mask and tap remaining essence in to face! 

How awesome is this mask?! It was so much fun - detox by glitter and I'm here for it. But seriously, this actually adhered really well to my face and was comfortable to wear for 30 minutes. I like when a mask comes in two pieces because it just fits really nicely! This mask had a slightly floral scent, but nothing that I really noticed as I was wearing the mask. 

I thought this left my skin feeling and looking clean, refreshed, and bright - my face was nice and smooth, and surprisingly hydrated for a charcoal mask. I really liked the results and I love the foil outer layer and think it really helps the mask essence absorb in to the skin. I've tried some ill-fitting foil masks before (like they can be really stiff), but the material of this one was so nice and it fit fantastic! My skin looked glowy, fresh and bright the next morning! I was really happy with the results! 

This was the first mask I've tried from Pure Aura and I really liked it - I can't wait to try more foil masks from them!
