I always love to get glam for Christmas, so I thought I'd share the look I'm planning for the holidays! I have been loving this Scorpio lipstick by Bite Beauty and really wanted to try the ColourPop Supernova Shadow that I have, and I think they worked so perfect with each other!
I usually pick a really classic red lipstick and a more gold look for Christmas - but I went with a little twist on the classic red and a more bronze eye and I think it still looks nice and festive!
This was my first time trying the ColourPop Supernova shadow; but, everything else I used has been pretty big staples in my collection (and a lot of them I don't talk about them enough!)
The primer I used was the Becca Backlight Priming Filter (not pictured) - this is a really old favorite primer, it made my Favs back in Nov. 2016 and I really only use it in the Winter/Spring as it's too shimmery in the Summer for me; but, it's a gorgeous base! Then I used the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation (I have the shade Buff Bisque) and this is foundation that most people love! For me, it's okay - it can only be applied with a brush, it looks terrible on me with a sponge; but, I do like the finish overall. Then for setting I used the Too Faced It's Bananas Brightening Setting Powder (which I plan reviewing eventually with the Tutti Frutti products I got), and topped it with a little Too Faced Peach Blur Translucent Smoothing Finishing Powder which is a great finishing powder - it made my Favs in February of this year!
I finished my face with the Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Color in "RD103 Petal" which is a gorgeous underrated blush, and I topped it with the Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm. The lips are Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Scorpio which I think it so gorgeous and it just needs to be blotted so it doesn't get on my teeth! Then I set it all with the Morphe Continuous Setting Mist and I have been loving this formula and loving the whole continuous mist thing!
For the eyes I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette - I used Tempera all over the lid and Golden Ochre with Raw Sienna through the crease. I deepened the outer crease with Antique Bronze and Cyprus Umber. Then I used Primavera on the lid and Vermeer in the inner corner. Then all over the lid I topped the look with the ColourPop Supernova Shadow in Dragon (which isn't even available anymore - so, the closet one on the website is Party Posse).
For my brows, I used the L'oreal Paris Brow Stylist Definer in Dark Brunette which is a good little pencil and finished them with the ColourPop Brow Boss Gel in Clear, which isn't clear and is a little weirdly white; but, does finish the brows nicely. I also used the Essence Eyeliner Pen, which is getting a little dry and it must be done; but, was a great liner! Then I finished the look with the Wander Beauty Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara, which is a really nice formula and makes my lashes look curled and defined.
