Here's a look at what I've been loving for the month of October:
Makeup Revolution - Revolution x The Emily Edit "The Wants" Palette ~ $27.99 CAN. An eyeshadow palette you'll want to use everyday! Created and crafted with content creator Emily Noel, aka Beauty Broadcast, The Revolution x The Emily Edit - The Wants Eyeshadow Palette features 24 matte, satin and shimmer shades.
I had never tried anything from Makeup Revolution prior to Emily Noel creating this palette with them; but, I really wanted to support her and give this a try and I really like! I've done a full Palette of the Week post with this palette and 5 looks with this - you can check it out here! It's incredibly versatile and has a ton of colours that I don't own a lot of in my collection - greens, purples, etc. There was some mixed reviews on the formula; but, I really found it workable and easy to use. (I think it's currently being reformulated over other an issue with on or two shadows, but I know it will be back in stock soon!)
Burt's Bees Blush in "Shy Pink" ~ $14.99 CAN. Glow beautifully and naturally, wherever you go. Our Blush applies and blends easily and evenly. This 100% natural, lightweight mineral makeup features Bamboo, Honey and Vitamin E to nourish skin and enhance your cheeks’ natural glow for beautiful results, inside and out.
This blush is really pretty - it's a much more cool shade than I normally wear (I have reached for peaches and warm shadows). I do think the formula is a little powdery, so tap off the excess before you apply! The staying power is great and this is such a great shade on. You can see the blush on me and a full face of Burt's Bees here!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Rosé Glow ~ $38.00 CAN for the We Know Glow Kit with a deluxe size Glamglow Mask. This new, exclusive shade, Rosé Glow, is a soft pink with rose-gold pearl for a golden, high-beam glow.
So this is a new and exclusive shade to this "We Know Glow Kit" that is a set with Glamglow! I really like this kit and I will review it soon! Rose Glow is a really pretty shade and the combination with the Shy Pink blush is perfection! It actually doesn't come off too pink on the skin and has a really golden tone in it too! And, it's so pretty on my skin tone!
Hank and Henry Lip Aesthetic Liquid Lipstick in "Petal Pusher" ~ $16.00 US. Scented with cake frosting, and enriched with Vitamin E to help keep your lips looking youthful and moisturized. This highly pigmented liquid lipstick dries to a full coverage matte finish but won’t dry your lips.
Hank and Henry was a new brand to me; but, when this came in a recent Boxycharm (and I picked up in a swap group), the reviews were really great and I had to give it a try! You can see my review and a try on of this lipstick here! The formula is creamy, comfortable, and long wearing, plus this shade is so pretty!
Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Gel For Acne ~ $11.99 CAN. Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Gel for Acne is an invisible treatment get that penetrates into the skin to help dry out acne and pimples.
I rarely find a spot treatment that's not those little patches that I like but am buying less now - the only other on is the Rocky Mountain Soap Co stick. I like this a touch better than that stick as I prefer this gel application that you can just dab on spots. This is recommended for all types of acne - whiteheads, blackheads, etc. I love a good spot treatment and this one does work well. While I tend to only use spot treatments on white heads, I do like it for use on my nose too to target those pesky blackheads.
What were you loving in October? Any of the same products as me?
