Does it get anymore basic Fall than a Pumpkin Spice Latte?! I'm not going to lie, I don't care how basic it is, I love them!
I had my first Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte yesterday and it was totally my inspiration for my Mani right after I finished it!
I felt like I was finally starting to get the hang of water marbling, so I want to keep trying it! This week's water marbling didn't turn out as smooth as I would have liked; but, I still think it's cute! This look is all about oranges, golds and browns - perfect for Pumpkin Spice Latte.
For this week's Mani I used:
Sally Hansen in "Sun Kissed"
Sally Hansen in "Hot Tamale"
Square Hue polish in "King Street"
Teeeez polish in "Pretty in Pyrite"

Water Marbling sounds easy in theory; but, it's not quite so easy in practice! You drop polishes in to a cup of water one at a time, make a design, and dip your nail in. The best way to get tips and tricks is to check out youtube and follow along with a tutorial!
I do really love this warm, Fall colour combo - I'm happy the gold glitter worked to water marble with (it was my first time attempting this with a glitter polish!)
Are you on the Pumpkin Spice Latte train?
I love the colour combo, and they turned out great!
ReplyDeleteYou know what? I have yet to try a PSL! I never did before cause I hated the taste of coffee. I drink coffee now, but just haven't been by a Starbucks to try. We actually have a Starbucks in the building at work, but they're not a real Starbucks - they don't take the points cards and they don't make PSL. :-(
Thanks Chantal - the colour combo is very Fall! Ahh! That's crazy - how can they not make a PSL?! They are no Starbucks!
DeleteI love this mani! The shades you chose are perfect! I'm all about the basic bitch-yness of Fall! I have never been able to master water-marbling. Do some polishes just not cooperate with it? Because that has been my experience.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, there are totally some polishes that do not work for it at all - and I'm still getting the hang of it!
