Glow Recipe has really recently become available on Sephora Canada and I have been lusting after this brand for quite some time! I actually picked up the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask while I was on a trip to the USA because I needed to try it (and I loved it - you can see my review here, and it made my July Favorites too!)
As a self proclaimed mask addict and because I loved the Sleeping Mask, I had to pick this mask up when it became available on Sephora Canada!
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask ~ $11.00 CAN. A jelly sheet mask that’s the perfect quick fix to dry, tired skin.
This mask is straight forward to use - just note that this mask comes in two pieces and is a delicate mask, so be gentle unfolding and applying. Start by washing face, tone skin, remove mask from the tray, and unfold each piece at a time and gently un-peel from the back layer and apply one at a time to the face, wear for 10 - 15 minutes, remove mask and pat remaining essence in to the face!
I love the texture of this mask - it is delicate; but, it applied so well and adhered to the face well. It had a surprising amount of essence and it did not slip around on the face at all once it was applied. I wore this for about 30 minutes and there was still essence to massage in to my skin.
I thought this delivered on the claims - my skin was bright and hydrated after wearing this and the next morning it still looked good. This mask was cooling and refreshing on the face and was just comfortable, easy to wear, and felt really good on the skin! I really liked this and it didn't leave my skin feeling greasy or weird after wearing it, so it could work well in the morning too if you prefer to mask at that time!
So far, I'm super impressed with the Glow Recipe products that I have tried - so I also just picked up the Watermelon Pink Juice Moisturizer from the brand as well and can't wait to try it! Have you tried glow recipe yet?

I liked this mask, but even though it wasn't tacky, I had issues with pilling when I applied moisturizer which was a bit sad. I don't know if I would buy it regularly because at $11, it's a bit on the expensive side, but it really did smell good and was very refreshing!
ReplyDeleteOh good to know - I didn't apply moisturizer after because I like to see how hydrating they are (plus my skin is oiler now, so it doesn't feel like I need it after masking). I agree, $11 is a little pricey, but I would pick it up every once in a while!
