I love these Haul posts because for me, it's a way of sharing everything I pick up throughout a month - honestly, I buy so much stuff that if I don't share it here, it might not pop up until my empties post! Let me know if there is anything you want to see a full post on, just let me know and I will do it!)
Also, I do "try" to stick to a monthly budget of $100, and these posts are supposed to keep me in check! I can go a little crazy sometimes with new things though - why is there so much new makeup being released all the time?! I will only include products I have spent money on - gifts, pr samples, and freebies are usually shared on posts like my Five on Friday posts!
Here is a look at everything I bought in July:
Sephora Haul #1 ~ $54.60 CAN. Yes, there is going to be multiple Sephora hauls this month - I fully admit, I went a little crazy! All of the sudden, facial rollers just popped on the scene and were everywhere so of course I had to pick one up! This is the Mount Lai Mini De-puffing Jade Facial Roller (and it's amazing) and I also picked up the Beauty Blender Solid Cleanser. The deluxe add on coupon with this order was a mini Tom Ford lipstick (which I can't wait to try!) and my mini samples were from Sol De Janeiro, Darphin and Ren!
Drugstore Nail Polishes ~ $5.00 CAN. I was browsing through Superstore and thought these 2 polishes looked gorgeous - the dark purple is Sally Hansen "Late Night Lilac" and the Sinful Colors is "You Just Wait" (which sadly, did not turn out this pretty the first time I used it!)
Miniso Haul ~ $19.37 CAN. I was so excited to finally get to the Miniso that opened in Calgary - I had to pick up a few goodies! I got Miniso branded silk masks, eye masks, facial spray, cotton pads and a Mediheal mask as well! (It might be dangerous knowing this store is so close to my work!)
Sephora Haul #3 ~ $67.20 CAN. Oh look another Sephora order to get another mini Natasha Denona product! This order was for the brand new Mini Lila Palette that looks so gorgeous that I had to pick it up, the day it was released! I will be reviewing it right away! I also had to pick up the Marc Jacobs Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick in One Mauve Time; because, I have heard such good things about this formula! The deluxe sample was for the new Tarte Creaseless Concealer, and I redeemed 100 points to try the Dior Micellar water. Then, my 3 freebies are from Tatcha, Ole Henriksen, and Sunday Riley.
Sephora Haul #4 ~ $28.35 CAN. I was so excited to see that Glow Recipe was available in Canada that I jumped on picking up this sheet mask right away (I already have the watermelon night mask). And, while I was at it, I picked up a few newer masks from Farmacy and Sephora. My deluxe add on was again, the Tarte concealer (because there was nothing else) and I got 2 freebies from Sunday Riley and Caudalie.
Lush Mask ~ $10.45 CAN. I cannot walk near a Lush store without picking up a Fresh Face Mask - and, it's been a while since I have used one! I picked up my old faithful, Catastrophe Cosmetic and can't wait to use it right away!
Boxycharm July ~ $35.35 CAN. I finished a 3 month subscription; but, can't decide if I want to renew for longer, so for now I am sticking with month to month. I thought this may be my last box as I wasn't thrilled with my variation; but, the spoilers for August look good, so I think I will stay subscribed for 1 month longer. If you are interested in seeing my full unboxing and thoughts on this box, the post is here.
GoScratchIt Monthly Kit ~ $20.52 CAN. I have been really happy with the wraps that have came in the past few months, so I have stayed subscribed a little longer than I planned; but, the quality of these wraps is always good so I am happy to add more in my collection! If you want more information about this subscription, you can find it here!
Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet (Monthly Trial) ~ $27.12 CAN. I have been having such an itch lately to try out new subscriptions and the Vanishing Cabinet has been always been on my radar. It's an indie brand with a dark touch to it and their products look so pretty. They have a wait list; but, every once in a while they release a one month trial available to more that doesn't renew as a subscription! I'm excited to dig in to this a little more and will review it here soon!
So, I may have went slightly overboard with the shopping this month - I spent $319.41 CAN and to be totally honest, I don't think August is going to be any better (there is sooo many things I want!!!)
What did you pick up this month?
I really like the idea of this post, and wondered how I would do it. I like the multiple pictures per haul. Great idea! I think I'll try this for August. I also need to be kept in check.
ReplyDeleteThe Natasha Denona Duo has my interest. Great Haul!
