This post is a review of all the masks I use each month and mini reviews on all of them - I also consider the Month of Masks my Mask Empties post, because I do not feature my sheet masks in my monthly empties post!
Here is a look at the masks I used in October:
October 2
Purlisse Blue Lotus + White Tea Treatment Sheet Mask ~ 6 masks for $36.00 ($6.00 each).
This mask smelled really good and it worked decently on my face. It was a bit thicker of a mask but it did brighten my skin. It was good, but not the most amazing mask that I have ever tried. At $6 each - it should be pretty good. I can find better for less $!
Repurchase: Not likely...
October 3
Rodial Snake Oxygenating & Cleansing Bubble Mask ~ $9.00 US each or $60.00 for 8 masks.
This mask combines 2 of the biggest skincare trends - bamboo charcoal and oxygenating masks! I thought my skin was noticeably cleaner and bright right after using! And, the following morning my pores were clear. This was fun to wear - you could actually feel the bubbles working in to the skin! You can see a full detailed post here if you are interested.
Repurchase: Yes I would!
October 6
Kiehl's Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque ~ $22.00 - $50.00.
I have been a big fan of turmeric in masks so I was excited to try this mask (I will post a review of it soon!). This mask smells really good and did make my skin bright. I was a little surprised that it made my skin feel rather tight after using it - I will have to test it again before forming my full thoughts.
Repurchase: Not sure yet
October 7
Nature Republic - Coenzyme Q10 Hydrogel Mask ~ $9.18 CAN.
This was a pretty good hydrogel mask - this lasted about 30 minutes on my face (I find that these thicker hydrogels don't usually last that long!) This was hydrating and moisturizing on the skin. I received this in a In8Beauty subscription and I would not often go out and spend almost $10 each on a mask! This was good; but, not that good...
Repurchase: Not likely
October 10
Too Cool For School Pumpkin 24K Gold Sheet Mask ~ $10.00 CAN.
This is a boi-cellulose mask - it feels like a thin gel mask and adheres amazing to the skin. I was really hoping that this smelled like pumpkin; but, sadly it did not! (It didn't have a scent). This lasted about 15-20 minutes and I wasn't sure if that would be enough, but it worked well. I didn't need to add any other steps like moisturizer after and my skin was super soft and bright. This was great! (I did a full review on this mask here if you a interested!)
Repurchase: Yes, this I would spend $10 each on!
October 11
SNP Charcoal Mineral Black Ampoule Mask ~ $31.69 for 10 masks.
Charcoal balances out the skin and I like to use it when my skin is feeling oily or breakout prone. This was good, worked to clear my pores and refresh the skin. This mask was super saturated with essence and lasted for a long time!
Repurchase: Yes
October 13
Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Repairing Mask ~ sample size 0.6 for $7.33 (full size is 2.7 oz for $33.00).
This mask smells so good (like berries!) and is an easy to use rinse off mask. Apply a layer of mask and leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse off. I found a lot of mask absorbed in to my skin so there was only a little bit left to rinse off. This made my skin feel good and hydrated!
Repurchase: Maybe, will keep using it!
October 15
Lush Cup O' Coffee Face And Body Mask ~ $19.99 for 325g (also, $10.95 for 150g).
I have raved about this mask a few times on here - I posted a more detailed review of it a few months ago (see it here!) and this made my Monthly Favorites back in April! I apply this mask in a nice thick layer to my face and body and wait 5-10 minutes before jumping in the shower! Then I rinse it off! It really exfoliates and energizes the skin!
Repurchase: Yes
October 17
D.I.Y. Pumpkin Mask
I did a full post on my DIY Pumpkin Mask recipe (with multiple variations as well) - you can check it out here! Pumpkin has lots of great benefits for the skin as do honey and eggs. This looks like baby food and smells good while wearing it! My skin was a little tight right after wearing this, but it was bright and and clear as well!
Repurchase: I would make this again, yes!
October 24
Etude House Black Hydrogel Eye Patch ~ $6.37 CAN.
How adorable is this mask?! Yes I want eye masks that looks like a cat! This fit a little small around my eyes, but it fit well and adhered to the skin. While it was adorable, I just didn't think it did much overall. (I did do a full review on this mask here if you are interested!)
Repurchase: Not likely
October 24
The Face Shop Real Nature Face Mask - Kelp ~ $3.00.
Kelp is good for purifying the skin and clearing the skin of impurities. This fits a little big like all of this Real Nature line, but they still adhere well and last for quite a long time on the skin! This made my skin feel good - cleaned and refreshed.
Repurchase: Yes
October 29
Glamglow Flashmud Brightening Treatment ~ sample size 0.5 oz for $24.00. (full size is $79.00).
I love this mask - it works so well and actually delivers on brightening the skin. I find this very refreshing to use and it smells amazing! You put it on in circular motions to help activate and then leave on for 20 minutes prior to rinsing off! It just cleared everything off and worked so well! Love!
Repurchase: Yes, despite the price I need this again!

October 31
ToGoSpa Bamboo Charcoal FACE Collagen Gel Masks ~ $35.00 for 3 masks ($11.67 per mask).
This mask is meant to detoxify the skin and is a thick gel mask. This fits really big though and you can't do anything but lay down with this mask on - although, even lying down the fit was still terrible. Overall, it just didn't work that well for me. If you want to see more detailed thoughts - I did a full review on this here.
So, I used 13 masks in October - not as many as I like to wear, but pretty good! Did it seem like I wore a ton of gel masks this month or what?!
