Demeter Fragrance Blending Library - Create Your Own Scent Blending and Review!

I was so excited when Demeter Fragrance reached out to the Canadian Beauty Bloggers for a "Create Your Own Fragrance - Foolproof Blending Library Campaign"! 

Here is a look at what came as part of the campaign:

Demeter is introducing their Foolproof Blending Library, founded on the philosophy of expressing your unique individuality through scent. These sets comes with a curated assortment of fragrances that can be blended and layered together in any combination you think suits your personality best! 

Demeter was founded in 1996 in New York City and was based on the Greek Goddess of Agriculture, Demeter. The main mission is to change how people feel through scent - if you smell something you love, you smile! 

Demeter Blending Trio - "Vanilla" ~ $45.00 - comes with Hawaiian Vanilla, Angel Food, and Gingerbread. Simply the most classic and well loved of modern fragrance notes.

We just love the entire experience, smell and taste. But like any great scent, Vanilla has many different faces and personalities. This Foolproof Trio contains three different perspectives on Vanilla: floral, sweet and spicy. And the best part is that these three very different Vanilla scents can be worn alone, or blended in any combination or proportion, to suit your own tastes.

All 3 of these scents are sooo good! Gingerbread is unbelievable - it smells so good! And Angel Food smells delicious! Hawaiian Vanilla is easily a classic go-to Vanilla scent with a little twist - it has been an every day scent of mine!

Demeter Blending Duo - "Jasmine/ Lavender" ~ $35.00 - comes with Jasmine, Lavender and a refillable bottle. Indulge your inner perfumer without any concern about the outcome.

The fragrances in these sets include two scents that can be combined and blended together in any proportion, along with simple tools to make blending easier.  We’ve also included a refillable bottle for blending with a Do-It-Yourself customizable label. For the Foolproof Duo premier, I wanted to use some of my favorite blending notes including Jasmine and Lavender. Every perfumer has favorites, and these are mine, especially for the change of season from summer to fall.

Lavender is one of my favorite scents ever - it is always calming and relaxing for me! Jasmine is beautiful, it is a little more floral than I normally pick-up but it smells good on it's own or blended with the other scents! 

The Jasmine/Lavender set came with a refillable bottle, a funnel, and few droppers to help mix the fragrance. Also not pictured are a few blending papers to help you mix a few scents and find what you like! There is also a little blending pyramid and a few basic rules! I love the first rule, "There are NO rules"! 

I thought it would be fun to have a customized bottle to go with my custom mad scent - how cute is the sticker I got for it! The scents I had to blend with again were Lavender, Gingerbread, Hawaiian Vanilla, Angel Food, and Jasmine. 

 

I had so much fun playing chemist and blending my own fragrance! I had a few blends picked out but I finally settled on the combination:

• 6 parts Hawaiian Vanilla
• 6 parts Lavender 
• 3 parts Angel Food
• 1 part Jasmine  

This is a beautiful combination and I love that it is all mine - See The World in PINK! I tried to put a little bit of each scent in to my combination, but I couldn't fir Gingerbread in to the mix well. I use each of these scents on their own as well because they are all so good!!
