Manicure Monday - Movember Kitty Cat Nails

Movember Manicure Monday!!! I thought I would join moustaches with my love of cats for this week's manicure! 

Hehe - how fun are these little moustached cats?! 


Here is what I used for this week's Mani:

• tools - tweezers, dotter and nail art brush
• Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear #295 Pixel Perfect (for accent nails)
• Whet polish in Facetious (for eyes)
• Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear #300 White On 
• Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear #470 Bubblegum Pink (for nose and accent nails)
• Julep Polymer Top Coat
• Formula X nail cleanser and base coat
• moustache stickers  

Here are the steps I followed for this Manicure:

-For the Cat Nails

1. Nail cleanser and Base coat

2. Use nail art brush and cat polish color (i'm using white) and create a rounded line for the head

3. Again, using the cat color polish and nail art brush add outline for ears

4. Fill in the cat! (I used 2 coats of polish)

5. Let dry well and then using the tweezers, apply the moustache stickers to the kitty!

6. Using the nail art brush and pink polish to create a little triangle nose

7. Using the nail dotting tool and the blue polish, add eyes! 

I love these kitties!!!

-For the Accent Nails

1. Nail cleanser and Base coat

2. 2 coats of base polish (I used pink)

3. 1 coat of texture polish

Add top coat to everything once the polish dries!!
