Here are the products I used:
- Formula X nail cleanser, base coat and top coat
- LVX nail polish in "Lolli"
- Nicka K New York polish in "Ripe Apple"
- black, yellow and green polishes for accent colors (skinny brush nail art polishes would work best!)
- Nail art brushes - skinny and small (these come in packs of 3 on ebay for 0.99 including shipping - such a great deal!)
Step 1. Nail cleanser and base coat. Paint two coats of the light pink and let nails dry well.
Step 2. using a skinny nail art brush paint strawberry shapes on nails (like an upside down heart) and fill in!
Step 3. Using a nail art brush or a skinny nail art polish add a few small brushes for stems with the green polish
Step 4. Using a black polish to add seeds (again with a skinny nail brush)
Step 5. Using a yellow polish add a small amount over top of the black seeds for an accent (using the smallest nail brush)
Step 6. Let polish dry well and add top coat!
And, again here is my result:
I love how these turned out - so cute and summery!! (And they were quite easy as well!). Working with nail art brushes can seem a little overwhelming, but it gets easier with practice!
What do you think of the strawberry nails? What is your favorite fruit manicure?
So cute girlie!!

ReplyDeleteThose are sooo adorable! I'll have to try them out soon for sure. And great post, loved the step by step pictures.
ReplyDeleteThank you - glad the steps will help! I would love to see yours when you do them!!
DeleteI am so impressed, this look is so cute! I like your step by step pictures, too. I can barely draw a straight line, but I feel motivated to try this!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! It is easier than it looks too! If you don't think you can do the reverse heart shape just do a rounded edge and it would still look like a strawberry!!
DeleteOMG so cute! Can't wait to try this
