Milani Color Fetish Hydrating Stain in Mahogany Mami

I have heard rave reviews about this Milani lip stain, so I had to try this product! I haven't tried much from Milani, but coloured me intrigued!

Made with hydration-rich Hyaluronic Acid and plant-derived Squalane, this cushiony high-comfort formula applies with a glossy shine that transforms into a semi-matte tint as it dries down. The never sticky, non-drying formula delivers up to 8HRS of stain power, hydration & comfortable wear. Say hello to your lazy girl lip era!

This is a stain type product - so it goes on with a cushiony applicator that it goes on shiny and then it dries down to a semi-matte finish on the lips! I don't wear a ton of stains, but I love the idea of the hint staying on the lips as the product wears off.

Monthly Beauty and Book Haul ~ June 2024

Back in 2022, I set a monthly beauty and books budget at $200 per month and I've been pretty good about sticking to it! I am trying to be thoughtful in my purchases, so this has been holding me accountable for being reasonable with my spending. Walmart Order ~ $36.13 CAN. I was super excited to try these bronzing drops from Lottie London and I've heard amazing things about the Milani Lip Stain - I can't wait to try these both soon! I have used the LA Colors Crackle Top Coat - you can see my review here!

I've been waiting for this Benefit duo to come online and I jumped on ordering it! Plus I picked up a few other goodies along with it that have caught my eye - they YSL Nu Bare Look Tint has been on my radar for a while, so I love that I can pick it up now using my PC Optimum points. Plus, the Milani concealer and the NYX Fat Oil have been hyped up so I couldn't resist trying them too!

Shoppers Drug Mart Haul ~ $20.17 CAN. I have been saving some points for some new items launching and as soon as I saw these Benefit Bronzer and Blush Duos released, I had to place an order! I have been wanting a new skin tint and I liked the other product from the YSL Nu line, so I was excited to use my points on a luxury brand! The NYX Fat Oil Lip Oil and the Milani Concealer were hyped, so I had to try them too! Then I picked up two Sally Hansen x Gladd Pride polishes and I've already used the red (you can check it out here!) And I picked up a set of Quo press ons!

You should know by now that I really try and shy away from poor or negative reviews - I like to keep things positive around here, so I typically share things I love! Now, that doesn't mean I will lie, if something isn't great I would never say it is, but I tend to keep my content to things I enjoy. 

But, I make an exception for the Worst Products of the year, because these aren't just a little bad or I didn't like them, these are all pretty terrible products that I could never recommend them! It's 2021, but do we still need disclaimers like, "just because I didn't like this single product, doesn't mean I don't love the brand" or, "please, don't be offended if one of these is your favourite products"? Because, yes all of that is true, and I think it should go without saying - a lot of these products are from brands that I like and have tried other things from and one product is not a reflection of the whole brand!
