New At Sephora Haul, First Impressions and Swatches ~ Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter, Sephora Collection Color Shifter Eyeshadow Palette, and Sephora Pout Perfect Lip Set

Trying something a little different here - I don't often do a full haul with my initial swatches and thoughts, but I picked up a few little new sets and items from Sephora that I can't do full posts on each item, so thought I'd share my thoughts here and show you what I picked up!

There have been a few things that have caught my eye lately - specifically the Rare Beauty Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter and the Sephora Collection Color Shifter Eye Shadow Palette!

February 2020 What I Bought - Monthly Haul!

Yay - time for my first Shopping Haul of 2020! Early this year, I set one of my 2020 goals to be actually sticking to my $100 a month Beauty Budget - are you ready to see if I was able to do this?!?

I always love my Monthly Haul posts to share with you everything I picked up (since I can't review everything I buy)! I also am trying to hold myself a little more accountable to buying products that I really want and will actually use!

I purchased everything in this post

Shoppers Haul ~ $6.79 CAN (originally was $142.50 CAN). I always love when Shopper's Drug Mart has your spend your points events, so I always stock up on a bunch of goodies. I picked up some Neutrogena face wipes, a new cleansing balm, cotton pads and dry shampoo. Then I picked up a couple of new products from the Physicians Formula Rose All Day line - you can see my review on the products here! I picked up a few different Essie products too - make sure you check out my recent Mani Monday posts for my thoughts on the polishes. And, I picked up the new Covergirl cream blush - I can't wait to try this soon.

August 2019 - Monthly Empties

Time for a look at my August Beauty Empties:

Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Foundation in 150 Buff ~ $20.99 CAN. Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Foundation provides an amazing, full coverage perfected look that lasts all day long.

I fell in love pretty instantly with this foundation - it made my March Favourites and you can see a full look at this product on me here! It's a very neat texture - it almost feels whipped, or as Revlon refers to it as velvet. It applies really softly and nicely; but, dries down nicely and doesn't stay tacky at all and it wears all day - well around 10 hours without breaking up on my combo skin! I have noticed it can disappear from the nose a touch, so I'm careful with my powder; but, I loved the coverage of this. I really like this foundation!

December 2018 - Monthly Empties and Month in Masks

Time to dig in to my beauty garbage!

December 2018 - Monthly Empties

Essence Eyeliner Pen Waterproof ~ $4.02 CAN. It is extremely long-lasting and offers great precision with a slim felt-tip applicator.

This was a good eyeliner - it's a felt tip pen and it worked really well. It was pigmented, applied well and lasted on the eyes! The actual product lasted a long time too! Plus, it's quite affordable. I think I like the Stila Stay All Day a little better, but this is a good alternative!
