Monthly Beauty and Book Haul ~ June 2023

Last year I set a monthly beauty and books budget at $200 per month and I really stuck to it! I am trying to be thoughtful in my purchases, so this has been holding me accountable for being reasonable with my spending. Since it worked so well last year, I'm really trying to do the same thing this year!

I do always love my Monthly Haul posts - it's a good way to keep track of everything that I picked up each month. I don't always blog about everything I pick up (I try to), but if you ever spot anything in here that you really want me to talk about, let me know!

I purchased everything in this post - the post contains affiliate links

Pat McGrath Order ~ $36.00 CAN. Oooh I've been on cream blush kick for a while and I love these sticks - I've been enjoying Pat McGrath products so I had to give this a try! It's a light, glowy formula and I can't wait to try it out more!

Shoppers Haul #1 ~ $9.86 CAN. I needed some new shampoo and conditioner - I have been liking the Monday Hair products, so I thought I'd try out the dry shampoo too. Also, I wanted to try a new leave in conditioner/detangler - I really love the JVN one but it's pricey!

Bookoutlet Haul ~ $64.20 CAN. I always check out Bookoutlet and pick up a little haul when there a few books I want. I picked up all the Finlay Donovan books in hardcover, the new Pinnochio, a graphic novel, and two recent releases from Feb and March of this year! If you want to save $5 off of your first $25 order, you can use my code here: https://bookoutlet.ca/loyalty/referral/xXCMDyB?c=url

Shoppers Haul #2 ~ $7.12 CAN. My second Shoppers Haul was more focused on suncare - picked up my regular tinted moisturizer, plus a spray and powder. Everything else is freebies. You can see my thoughts on the Sun Bum and IDC on my post here

Auction Books ~ $11.00 CAN. Found some good books on my TBR on an auction, so got these all for $11. The only one I've read and added to my shelf is The Soulmate Equation and I enjoyed it - the rest I have lined up to read!

June Owlcrate ~ $83.58 CAN. I didn't take a picture of the contents again, but this was a great box and the book is stunning! Check out my unboxing video on my instagram

Chapters Pre-order ~ $18.11 CAN. I had to order Ashley Poston's next adult romance - she's got a quick, easy to read style and this will be perfect for the beach I think!

This month I spent $229.87 CAN on beauty and books - this is just a tad over, but honestly I really like keeping myself accountable with this budget (thank goodness for points shopping, because this would have been a fair bit more!) Excited about everything I picked up last month!

  1. I love a good haul post! I love cream blush, I don't think I can go back to powder blush products. As for the books, the Marie Lu book is on my wishlist. The Seven Year slip also sounds really good. I'll look forward to your reviews.
