I'm switching up my Monthly Haul posts a little bit this year, because I'm actually *trying* to stick to a bit of a budget! I've been going a little crazy on the beauty and books front, so I just want to be a little more thoughtful in my purchases. So. I'm trying to keep my beauty and book purchases to $200 a month - we'll see!
I do always love my Monthly Haul posts - it's a good way to keep track of everything that I picked up each month. I don't always blog about everything I pick up (I try to), but if you ever spot anything in here that you really want me to talk about, let me know!
Sephora Order ~ $35.27 CAN. I needed to pick up some cleansing oils and balms - I was trying to pick new, affordable cleansers and so far, the Innisfree Cleansing Oil is a favourite! It made my Favs on December - plus, the samples were from brands I love. I haven't tried the Inkey List yet, but I will try it out soon!
Owlsnest Books Order ~ $46.18 CAN. I was really excited for the new Cake Cookbook from Julie Van Rosendaal - he approach to cooking is so nice, and I love her recipes. She exclusively releases these books at independent bookstores. I also needed to pick up a copy of Legends and Lattes - this is a fabulous book!
Indigo Order ~ $57.82 CAN. I had to pick up the last remaining books from Chapters - the first two are sequels that I read this year that I wanted in my library. Then the At Midnight is a anthology of short stories of fairytales reimagined; what's great about this one is that they also include the original fairytale at the end of the book too!
Books Between Friends Used Book Finds ~ $11.00 CAN. I love used book shopping - I love going to Books Between Friends and I found a couple of books that I'm excited to read! The Circus Train is an anticipated read of the year and I can't wait to dive in to it!
Lush Kitchen Subscription Box January 2023 ~ $58.25 CAN. I forgot to skip my January box, so whoopsie, but I'm excited to see what the send for the New Year! I do love the subscription, so I'm okay with this order and I will get the box soon!
For December 2022, I spent $208.52 CAN - pretty reasonable and right in my budget! I'm excited to dive in to all the books!
