Okay, there were a few viral nail trends last year - the glazed donut and chocolate nails, so naturally, when Taylor Swift just dropped her Lavender Haze music video this week, I have seen these gorgeous lavender nails everywhere! Personally, I love this look of light, gentle shimmering lavender nails!
The #CBBxManiMonday group usually picks a theme for the month and we all do the same nails together for the month. For the start of the year, we decided to leave the theme open - it's a freebie month and we are all going to do our best nails this month to ignite our love of nail art! I have been doing Viva Magenta nails all month, but thought these beautiful lavender nails would be a good segway in to February and lovey themed nails all month!
The products I used for this week's nails are:
- Nails Inc polish in Rainbow Wishes
- Essie polish in Sugarplum Fairy
This was a really easy manicure for the look - I started with a base coat and two coats of the shimmery blue purple polish as the base polish. Them I added a thin coat of Sugarplum Fairytale to the top for a little extra purple shimmer! Then, I finished with a top coat.
