I've shared a little bit about Nabla before; but, it's a harder to get brand in Canada, so I'm slow to try their products!
We can get it off of Beauty Bay and those in the US can get it at Ulta, so it is becoming a little more available!
This is an Italian brand, so I was actually able to pick these up in a shop in Naples when I was there in person! I've been able to try these out since then and I have some thoughts!
Nabla Skin Glazing Blush Highlighter in Lola ~ $27.00 CAN. A watermelon pink with amber and peach reflects.
Okay, spoiler alert if you've seen my September Monthly Favourites, because I used this all Summer and loved it! These have been referred to as blushes and highlighters, so you can use these as both really depending on your skin tone and there are a range of shades. They give a luminous finish to the cheeks and wear so well!
The shade Lola is described as a watermelon pink with and amber and peach reflects in it. It is swatched up top and blended in below. This has been a beautiful Summer blush because it is super glowy! The pink and peach reflect looks beautiful on the cheeks. The perfect Summer glow and you only need one product because it does offer some reflect on the cheeks as well, so I've been passing on the highlighter.
And, here is a look at the Skin Glazing Highlighter in Lola on the cheeks - such a pretty shade and I love the blush/highlighter combo you get with this on the cheeks!
Nabla Vicious Mascara ~ $29.75 CAN. This high-volume, high-drama, vinyl formula is here to coat every single lash with ultra-dark definition.
Okay, this one is a spoiler for my upcoming empties post; but, this is one of my biggest disappointments. I couldn't resist trying this mascara because the packaging is amazing! It's a cat - I llooove it. But, sadly the formula just didn't do it for me. It did add volume and that was amazing, but it was too spidery and it transferred all over my eyes and smudged every where!
Here's a close up look at the wand - it's a little plastic bristle applicator and it was easy to use. This isn't my favourite type of applicator to use and I find them to not work as well as a natural bristle wand.
Here is a look at the mascara with 2 coats on - I typically wear 3 coats, but just the way my lashes separated, I couldn't add anymore on. I do think it looks okay, but again with continued use of the formula, it got more clumpy. Also, again I couldn't get over the amount of transfer. I couldn't even finish this tube of mascara!
And, here's a look with both the Skin Glazing Highlighter and Vicious Mascara on! Have you tried any Nabla products yet!?
