Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a good week - it's been a whirlwind here! I got back from my trip on Saturday night and have been playing catch up on my sleep all week! Also, at almost 2.5 years in to the pandemic, work has removed the mask mandate (I know it's a bit of touchy subject), but it has me a little excited to start wearing all my makeup again!!
ONE
I purchased everything in this post - this post contains affiliate links
I hope you all were following along on my instagram the past couple of weeks, because then you would know that I've been in Italy - we went to Rome, a couple of small towns Fossacesia and Alberobello, Positano on the Amalfi Coast and Naples! It was such an amazing trip and I'm so thankful that after two years of cancelling the trip we were finally able to go! I've never been to Europe before, so it was pretty fantastic! I will try and do a more detailed post soon!
TWO
I didn't do a ton of shopping while in Italy, mostly sight-seeing and family time, but I did pick up a few things and thought I'd share them here! First up, Positano is know for it's shoes (typically custom made to your feet), so I picked up a few nice pairs of shoes - these gorgeous black flats will replace any and all black shoes I have, and I just loved these sandals so much!
THREE
The only things I decluttered last month was brushes and little nail art do-dads that I don't use. The brushes were all duplicates or ones I don't use and just got lost in my pile of brushes!
FOUR
I had some really long plane rides, so I caught up on a few movies and shows (Friends Reunion, Dog - both fine), but my sister suggested Game Night and I can't believe I haven't seen this. It is actually hilarious; I was trying not to laugh too loud on the plane, so if you haven't seen it, I would recommend it! About a competitive gaming couple who get swept up in an actual kidnapping murder plot while they think it's a murder mystery game!
FIVE
I wanted to see what your thoughts are on a couple of beauty brands - Haus Labs just relaunched themselves from an exclusive Amazon brand to a clean Sephora brand. This is interesting, because I wasn't super in to the past Haus Labs products and I didn't love them being only with Amazon, but I'm not sure about this relaunch either. The prices are quite high and the products look like copies of other brands. I do think it's closer to Gaga's own makeup style, so it fits better, I'm just going to wait and see reviews for now!
I hope you all have a good weekend!
