The OPI polish was received as a PR samples
I always love when it's May, because the #CBBxManiMonday group always does florals for this month for Spring - flower nails are some of my favourite nail art to do, and I'm so excited that I had some time to actually do some nail art this week!
For this first week of florals, I went with this Happy Daisy look and honestly - I love these! Totally makes me smile, just like that daisy!
For this week's nails, the products I used are (sorry forgot a photo this week):
- Nails Inc. Hot Fuzz polish
- OPI Don't Tell A Sol polish
- ORLY Instant Artist polish in Jet Black
- China Glaze polish in Summer Moon
- Moyra Stamping Nail Polish Top Coat
I also used a nail dotting tool for this mani!
For this look, I started with three coats of each base polish (these have thinned out a little bit and so three thin coats was the best way to get them fully covered!) I used orange on the base of the nail art nails, and a white and yellow accent nails. Then, with a dotting tool, I created little flowers on one finger, and one big flower on one of the other nails! Then, with the yellow, I added the centre of the flowers to each flower. Then, with a black nail art polish or brush, I added two small dots for eyes and a little smile! I finished with a nail art top coat!
Hope you all have a great week - as always, make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love for their floral nails too!
