Happy Manicure Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!
I purchased everything in this post
The Night Circus was published 10 years ago today, and I'm sure you've heard me talk about it a lot, but this is easily my favourite book - the magic, the setting, the love, the challenge, it's all just so lovely! I'm currently on my 6th read of this book and it's the perfect Fall book; it just gets better and better every time I read it!
Anyways, this lovely celebration called for some special Night Circus nails! The CBBxManiMonday group will be doing Fall themed nails for the whole month, and since this book is very Fall to me, these fit!
- Maniology Bam! White Stamping polish
- Maniology Straight-Up Black Stamping polish
- China Glaze polish Summer Moon
- Black nail art polish
- Morgan Taylor polish in Just One Bite
- Maniology House of Horrors XL: Haunting Words/Carn-Evil m061 stamping plate
I also used a basic stamper set for the nail stamping!
To start, I painted a couple of nails red and a couple white for this mani - if you know, the Night Circus is all black and white, and the Reveurs where a pop of red to distinguish themselves as followers and fans of the circus itself. Then, I stamped a circus tent and performer on the red nails, and on the white I stamped on some tickets and then used the nail art polish to create black stripes on the other.
I struggled a little with the stamping on this one and so they didn't turn out perfectly how I wanted them to, but alas, they are still very Night Circus reminiscent and so they feel lovely!
As always, make sure to check out Cosmetic Proof and Prairie Beauty Love to see their Fall nails too!
