Mask Wednesday - Glamglow Instamud 60 Second Pore-Refining Treatment

Is their anything funner than crazy and weird mask posts?! These are my favorite products to test out and write about! I am a self proclaimed mask-addict; but, how can I not be when they are all so fun to try!

Glamglow is always coming up with fun masks with effective formulas - think My Little Pony Glitter Mask and the Sonic The Hedgehog Mask Blue Mask. And, their regular mask formulas are really great too! They always work well on my skin and are pretty much known for their masks.

Mask Wednesday - Glamglow Instamud 60 Second Pore-Refining Treatment

Glamglow Instamud 60 Second Pore-Refining Treatment ~ $53.00 CAN for full size (this is a sample size shown). A mask that refines pores and evens skin tone, leaving skin smooth and soft in as little as 60 seconds.

This mask is only a 1 minute mask that targets dull skin, uneven tone and pores. The Instamud mask has ingredients such as bentonite and kaolin clays to clear pores, witch hazel and aloe vera to sooth the skin and licorice root for brightening!

The masks fun feature is the micro-bubbling mud that activates on contact with the skin to invigorate and brighten your skin! I have tried a few oxygenated bubbling masks and they feel so cool on the skin!

This mask is easy (and really quick!) to use! Start by washing your face and dry, apply a generous layer of mask to face and do not rub in, let sit for 60 seconds on face while it turns in to bubbles, and rinse off with warm water. Follow up with your regular skincare routine. It is suggested to use this mask 2-3 times per week.

Ahh - how fun is this mask?! It's purple! You know I can't resist a cute mask! This picture shows the different stages of the mask too - it's a thin formula that smooths on the skin really easily and starts bubbling about 10 seconds after being on the skin (it doesn't get crazy huge bubbles; but, bubbles up pretty good on the face). You can feel all the microbubbles on the skin and it feels pretty neat. It's not painful or tingly in any way; but, it is a tickling sensation. It's super quick and fairly easy to rinse off.

I thought overall my skin looked good after using this! The next morning my skin was bright and it did even out some marks I had and the pores around my nose looked slightly less visible. My skin felt smooth and clear - overall, I liked the results!

I personally like bubbling masks - they are so fun to use! And, if skincare can be effective and entertaining; I'm all for it!

  1. I love GlamGlow masks and have yet to try this one. Does this one tingle?

    1. Not tingle - but tickle and bubble! (if that makes sense...)

  2. I've never tried GlamGlow masks, and I've never tried bubbling masks, but I want to try both! This one sounds really fun to do. :-)
