Five on Sunday - July 15, 2018

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a great week - I have been on holidays most of the week, so it has been great! (Actually, as this is posting, we are in the midst of an 8 hour drive home!)

ONE

okanagan lake, penticton. bc

We are currently in Penticton, B.C. visiting my family - and I love coming here every Summer for a visit.  It's always so good to go home! I was born here and lived here until I was 10. My family still lives here, so it's always great to be back at the beach. And, it was so fun to have Elliott here on the beach where I grew up!

TWO

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the last day to enter my giveaway with Palmer's for 3 of you to win all 3 products here! You just have to live in Canada - you can see my full review on all 3 products and find the entry form here!

THREE

The Calgary Stampede is just wrapping up - we didn't go this year; but, we certainly took in our annual Stampede Pancake Breakfast! We love going for pancakes and activities - who doesn't love free food?!

FOUR

beauty room decor stained watercolor

How cute are these little pictures I picked up recently for my beauty room?! The Aurora and Belle are custom made by Stained Watercolors and they are amazing in person - they are gorgeous! Also, the other one was picked up from a facebook auction and I thought it would be super cute in a makeup room!

I am planning on doing a little photo wall with shelves as new storage for my makeup palettes to display them so I will update you when it is all set up!

FIVE

overnight oats

Have you ever stopped making something for a while and then make it again and wonder why you stopped? I can't remember the last time I made overnight oats and this was so good! I just used oats, chia seeds, hemp hearts, ground flax, milk, bananas, blueberries, peanut butter and a touch of honey!

I hope you all have a great rest of the weekend! It's always hard to get home late on Sunday night and work early Monday morning; but, it will be a bit of a quieter week for us as our older son is staying with the family in BC for an extra week!
