Manicure Tuesday - MoYou London Stamped Nails!

Happy Manicure Tuesday - my son's basketball practice is now on Monday nights so I'm really going to do my nails in advance, or we may be seeing a lot of Manicure Tuesdays on the blog for a bit!

This week I am really excited to try nail stamping! I tried this technique over 10 years ago from a mall kiosk and it did not work for me, but recently I have been seeing some beautiful stamping nail art and new I had to try it again!

I love how cute are these little birdie stamps?!

Here is a look at the MoYou London stamping set that I used:

MoYou London Starter Set ~ $29.95. This set includes everything you need to start stamping! It includes a stamping plate, a stamping nail polish, a scraper, a nail stamping tool, and an instruction manuel!

The stamping plate I have is the Mother Nature #2 - this is full of a big peacock and lots of beautiful birds! I'm a excited to see that these MoYou plates and polishes are available in Canada through Trade Secrets - I am loving these plates!

Also for this mani, I used:
-Formula X nail cleanser, base coat, and top coat
-Sally Hansen Nail Polish in "White On" as my base polish!

The best part of the starter set is the instruction manuel - it was so helpful! Here are the steps I followed for this week's Mani:

Start with nail cleanser, base coat, and 2 coats of base polish - let this dry very well. Then, apply a generous layer of stamping polish to plate, scrape excess polish off plate with scraper, quickly with a rolling motion roll the stamper over the plate, and roll the stamper over the nail! Repeat and finish with a top coat!

Here is another quick look at how my first stamping attempt turned out!

I love how they turned out!
