Manicure Monday (Daisy Nail Art) and Monthly Pedicure (Julep Stardust Finish)

One of the things I love about Mondays are my Manicures - I'm always looking forward to what I'm going to do next! It has been beautiful out and it made me daydream of Spring, so this week I'm going to do Daisy Nail Art!

Here is a look at what I came up with:

Here are the products I used for this week's Mani:
-Julep Polymer Top Coat
-Formula X Nail Cleanser and Base Coat
-Color Club Yellow polish
-Trust Fund Beauty in "I'm Kind Of A Big Deal" (from my most recent Ipsy bag)
-Quo by ORLY Instant Artist - While Nail Art Polish
-(nail dotting tool - not pictured)
Here are the steps I followed:
1. Nail Cleanser and Base Coat
2. 2 coats of base polish (any color you wish - I chose this beautiful pink)

3. Let dry very well
4. Using a dotting tool (or a toothpick), add 1 yellow dot to the top middle of every nail

5. Using the Nail Art Polish (or white polish and a skinny brush), create petals from the yellow circle - no need to be perfect, but try to make the ends of the petals a little smaller than the base if you can! Try practicing if you are unsure beforehand!

6. Let dry well and add Top Coat!

Again, because they are so pretty, here are my final results!

And also as the first Monday of the Month, I am doing my toe nails too! It's a little early for Pedicure Art, so I usually just try and use a really pretty polish - this month I am going to try the Julep Stardust Finish polish!

Here is a look at my Monthly Pedicure:

Okay, I know toes are not very pretty to photograph, but this does not do the polish color justice - it is absolutely stunning! I'm going to have to use it in a Mani soon!

Here is a look at the products I used for my Pedicure:
-Julep Polymer Topcoat
-Formula X Nail Cleanser and Base Coat
-Julep Stardust Finish Polish in "Cameron"
-Julep polish in "Alaina"
Here are the steps I followed for this Pedicure:
1. Nail Cleanser and Base Coat
2. One coat of Base polish - I wasn't sure how opaque the stardust polish would be, so I played it safe by using a close neutral underneath
3. One coat of stardust polish - a little goes a long way!
4. Topcoat!

Again, I wish it would photograph better for you guys so you could see the true color, but I will use it soon and hopefully it will take better pictures on my nails! If you like opaque heavy glitters, this is a must!
