Wine + Mask Wednesday (Sokol Blosser Rose of Pinot Noir + Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask Strawberry)

Wine and Mask Wednesday - this week's theme is "Strawberry"!

Here is a look at my Mask of the Week:
Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask Strawberry

Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask "Strawberry" ~ $1.62 CAN. Get supple and translucent skin with the strawberry It's real squeeze mask!

Innisfree makes really great, inexpensive masks - this Strawberry mask is for brightening the skin! Innisfree masks 3 types of sheet masks and the "It's Real Squeeze Mask" series are made out of triple layer masks to allow for even essence absorption into the skin!

This mask wears like the majority of sheet masks - wash face, apply toner, leave mask on for 20-30 minutes, remove and pat essence in to skin, and complete skincare routine.

Overall, I was happy with the mask. It applied decently on my face, but the texture is a little thin and I did tear it as I smoothing it over my skin. It had a slight artificial strawberry scent, but it wasn't too strong. I did think the essence absorbed well and it made my skin feel great. I love Innisfree masks (my favorite series being the "Skin Clinic" mask, but these are great and inexpensive - as I am writing this post, the "It's Real Squeeze Mask" series are buy 10, get 10 free which is a great deal!

Now, here is my Strawberry themed Wine pairing:

Sokol Blosser Rose of Pinot Noir ~ $22.00. Rain, rain, rain. Warm spring days. Hot summer sun. Delicate floral aromas. Hints of strawberries and melon mixed with citrus. A long, lingering finish. Bliss.

I can't say I have tried a wine from the Oregon Valley before! I like that this is a Pinot Noir based Rose.

This wine was okay - it was actually a little more sour or bitter than I was expecting - a little heavier on the apple and citrus flavor than a strawberry and melon flavor. It was still tasty, but my personal preference is towards the sweeter side! I have to say, the color of this wine is amazing! It is a beautiful peachy pink color that you don't see very often making it very unique!
